It started out with Deeks needing every minute of that sleep - but just as importantly, he needed her there. Sleep isn't nearly as elusive as it used to be- but the need for her to be there hasn't ebbed. Post ep from 5x01 and onward for season 5. Spoilers may occur.

Set after 4x24. Deeks and Sam have been taken and Kensi is trying to not make the case personal. But it's hard when all she can think about is Deeks' attempt at communication. As Kensi, Callen, and the rest of the team delve deeper into their mission to rescue their missing agents, Kensi finds that maybe she's okay making it personal. Densi. Callen/Kensi friendship.

Set three months after the Sidorov incident Kensi and Deeks are sent undercover together as a married couple. Deeks puts his football skills to good use to flush out a suspected terrorist.

It took Callen a few minutes to notice what was happening. Years of training had taught him to always keep a watchful eye on his teammates, even off-duty. "We have a problem," Callen said to his partner. Sam's gaze shifted to Kensi and Deeks. He sighed. "Where's Hetty?" (Note: If you like what you read, vote for my story on /fandom)

Deeks grabbed their finished bowls, heading out of the kitchen. 'How hard can it be' He shrugged his shoulders, back towards her as he walked away. 'It's a simple question of who you want at the wedding.'Kensi was quickly on his tail, arm extending out so the palm of her hand collided with his firm backside. 'Oww shit Kensiii.' 'About that hard.'

As Deeks sanity hangs on by a thread it is up to Kensi to make him realize that he is loved and that he is strong enough to come back to her. Guilt has been eating away at Sam and he has to resolve his issues with Deeks before it tears him apart from the inside out.

A dream leaves Kensi questioning her feelings for her partner.

The gestation of a human is 40 weeks. That is a long adventure for anyone, and when you throw Kensi and Deeks into the mix, you never know what can happen!
