My name is... no, I'm not doing the DCCW intro...

But, I think after nearly I year on this site I should probably write something here...

From what I've seen I'm supposed to put my likes and dislikes somewhere:

Favorite color: Blue (I chose cobalt for a reason)

Likes: Mainly DC and Marvel characters (though Superman is a little overrated), it's why I watch all of the shows (minus Daredevil, it's too gory for me)

Dislikes: More like pet peavies of fandom behavior (most of it is due to shipping):

1) Characters are shipped together even though they clearly hate each other or one is abusive towards the other

2) Bashing a character for "getting in the way of" or "stealing" someone else in a popular ship, unless it's stated said character is deliberately doing this (I mean I ship Nyssara, but I'm not bashing Laurel, Lindsey, Cold, Rip, or Oliver for it... well there's some minor Oliver bashing at times, but it's not shipping related, sometimes he's just a flat out idiot)

3) Always blaming the female character for when a ship fails, even if it's the male character's fault (ex. Jessica and Killgrave)

4) Season 3 and the latter half of Season 4 Arrow... (especially "The Calm" and "Eleven-Fifty-Nine"!)

5) Shoving Caitlin into a corner during Season 3 of Flash and making Iris a damsel in distress for over half a season!

My (2016) DCCW Wish List AKA what I really hope the Flash, Arrow, and Legends do in the future:

[x] #7 Earth-1 Caitlin meets Killer Frost. (why is it every time something is crossed off here, a character I like dies, or a ship is sunk... sorta?)

[ ] #6 A bonus episode, or comic, something on the earth-2 counterparts for Team Arrow (seriously, I've heard since Oliver's dead, Smoaking Canary's a thing there! Also now it's the best chance for a Lance sister team up)

[x] #5 Merlyn regains the humanity he had in season one, or finally receives his overdue karma (though there's probably more coming)

[x] #4 Address the West family saying things like "I've always wanted a son/brother (Wally)" to/in front of Barry, because ouch, that hurts... and Barry better not apologize for anything on that topic (ie no "I'm sorry for feeling jealous" junk, 'cause now your adoptive family is basically saying you were never apart of their family...that hurts a lot).

[/] #3 Show some of Sara's League days, please! Bonus points if it's Nyssara's first encounter (Eh, technically we saw Sara's League days in "Left Behind" but I meant the flashbacks...)

[ ] #2 Sin and Sara reunion. (so, did Sin just fall off the face of the planet or something?)

[x] #1 Nyssara reunion/An actual Lance sister team up (no, the one in "Lost Souls" doesn't count... sobs, now it can't happen... we better get a Nyssara reunion, and it better be happy!) ...Why, writers!?

Total: about 4.5 (I guess that's not too bad?)

My (2017-2018) DCCW Wish List:

[ ] #5 Caitlin Frost on Legends (it would be pretty cool, no pun intended)

[ ] #4 Caitlin Frost as an anti-hero, that actually gets the proper attention, no love interest plots for at least the first half of the season, & maybe an explanation for why her powers make her go evil (I mean I have a theory, but it would be nice to know for sure!)

[ ] #3 Don't permanently kill Sanvers, ever. (I don't even need to explain myself here.)

[ ] #2 Feminism returns to Supergirl. (I think it stayed on the CBS...)

[ ] #1 Sara meeting Black Siren. (Why hasn't this happened?)

Let's just make this clear, I rarely ship something, I just go with whatever is canon since I prefer shows to focus more on friendships and family bonds, since focusing on shipping creates a lot of drama I don't think is necessary. Though there are some ships I find disturbing (Jessica and Killgrave... Tumblr, you scare me).

Nyssara (Arrow) This one has a special meaning for me :).

Fitzsimmons (Agents of Shield) Take notes Arrow writers! This is how you write a couple with crazy drama, but make it likable!

Sanvers (Supergirl) My OTP (sorry Nyssara).

AndyxApril (Parks and Rec) No idea what it's called, but I'm surprised how much it grew on me.

Ships that don't make sense to me:

Jessica x Killgrave (Jessica Jones) ... just a quick question to the people who ship them: did you actually watch the show? He F*ing raped her! (in more ways then one!)

Olicity (Arrow) Ok, Olicity fans before you kill me, hear me out? I never shipped them for one simple reason: when the show has Olicity it degrades both characters. Oliver becomes an ass when they are together and Felicity is degraded to a selfish and whiney character who loses all of her charm. When they are just friends the romantic plot doesn't drag either of them down and Oliver is a fairly badass archer and Felicity is an awesome and clever comic relief character who is the heart of the show. The only reason why I'd even put Olicity in any of my fics is because it's cannon, and even then I doubt the decision so I keep the focus to a minimum. Rest assured, there is no Olicity bashing in my fics, I don't believe it's fair to the characters to bash them for shipping related reasons. In short this is more of a writing issue I have with Arrow then anything else, so some Olicity fics I'm totally ok with.

Karmel (Supergirl) This had potential, but they kept telling us that Mon-hel changed, but never really showing it. I was excited about this at first, and then I realized they were just making Kara "fix" him so he could date her as a reward... only he never really was fixed...

Birds of Prey: Rebirth: Chapter 15 is up!!! Chapter 16 will be up by June 8th.
