 Author has written 2 stories for Pride and Prejudice, and Fairy Tales. Concrit is welcome where it is genuine, with the emphasis on "constructive". For my fic "Miss Darcy" I've tried to keep as closely to Jane Austen's style as I can manage within my limited capabilities, so I'm not expecting it to be everyone's cup of tea. If it's too wordy or floral for your taste, consider that it is a choice deliberately made, and please do not berate me for it! Just... read something else! ;) For my poem "A Thousand Furs" I've used quite an old-fashioned style of language, which again is a bit of an acquired taste. Happy Reading PP |

His passionate love for Elizabeth only mitigates this character flaw, resulting in the awful proposal at Hunsford. If happenstance forced Darcy to marry Elizabeth before he loved her, or even knew her at all, would he ever be able to get past his pride to recognise his fortune?
