AU/Human: Former Secret Service Agent Bo is hired by Senator Lauren Lewis for protection. Bo has struggles and Lauren has secrets. Mystery, romance, sci fi and thriller all rolled into one. And some angst. Check out the summary in chapter one for more. Rated T for now but will slide to M as we progress.

This chapter has been ready to go for a while, but I wasn't happy with it.

Written for doccubus one-shot challenge. After a rough night, Bo is in need of Lauren's special healing talents. Takes place two and a half months after 3.04 Fae-de to Black (when Lauren and Bo finally accepted that Bo needed to start feeding off others again.) This is sort of AU, in that you should ignore everything that happened on the show after 3.04.

Lauren is in crisis and tries to push Bo away. Bo won't give up that easily. Alternate ending for ep 3x10 and beyond; the backstory is mostly canon, with a few revisionist reinterpretations thrown in. This is Doccubus all the way!

Just my take on one way Lost Girl Season 5 could introduce Charisma Carpenter's character, Freyja, into the show in a very pro-Doccubus manner. It's been 80 years since Bo last saw Lauren. One shot that popped into my head yesterday. Kinda a sequel to Us, but you don't need to have read that one first. Stream of thought from my head to the story, no editing, so apologies for typos or any inconsistencies.

After sixteen years fate brings these two back together but can they overcome everything left from their past and a few secrets still being kept to this day?
