Author has written 19 stories for Lord of the Rings. I'm from England but live in South America. I've read and written fanfiction on and off, and with long gaps, since discovering it in 2003. I'd been writing it for myself since the mid 90's but had no idea anyone else did! The first online fics I read were for ER but I have stuck to science-fiction and fantasy fandoms ever since, although I don't tend to read much original fiction in these genres. My main fandom for several years was Lord of the Rings. It's the only fandom I've felt comfortable writing in (so far), and almost everything I have written is about the hobbits. I pretty much love all the "good" characters in the book, and I've generally only read and written gen hobbit-centric stories focusing on Merry and Pippin and their interactions with other characters. Since then I've also dabbled in Supernatural (Dean-centric), Brokeback Mountain, Star Trek (OS and 2009), and most recently the Avengers. Since watching the movie in May, I've been obsessed with Steve/Tony. |
