Uhm well hey! I'm from Wisconsin, US. I'm a Freshman in High School.. Some books I enjoy reading are The Harry Potter series, The Twilight saga (yeah, me too), Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire... you get the idea.
My dad and I were walking around in Barnes and Noble yesterday before stopping at the store, and as we walked past the teen shelves, my dad pointed every vampire book he noticed from the cover. He had his finger up pretty much through the whole section. So he says to me between drinks of his coffee, "There's where the real money's at. Forget Genetic Engineering, or Film Editing. Just write a book about vampires."
So I decided to challenge myself to write a decent, original, vampire story. It's been a while since I've written anything (I tried to start free writing again about a week ago and was unable to make the picture in my mind come to life on the page), so this should prove to be a worthy challenge.
