When I was awake, the first thing that I realized was that I was still wearing what I wore yesterday. I couldn’t believe I had fallen asleep while reading; it was something that I never did. When a book was near, I couldn’t stop reading. The second thing that I clued into was that I didn’t turn my lamp off last night either, it was still light out. I could even tell that behind my closed eyelids. Now that I was awake I had to get up, get ready for school, change, and turn my lamp off. I automatically reached over to where it was on my bedside table and missed it, and my hand held nothing but air. I made another grab for the switch, but I couldn’t feel it, anywhere. I felt up and down and across, but I felt nothing there, not even my radio, or my bedside table.

I sighed and gave up at trying to find it blinded, and cracked my eyes open so I could just simply turn the light off.

What I saw before me, was not my room.

This is just part of a story I'm working on right now. I'm hoping to get a bunch of feedback off this website so I can become a better writer. I've been writing stories since first grade and have simply never lost my passion for it. My only big issue is that I sometimes get far too many ideas coming to me at a time, and I end up having too many stories to work on. It's not good; so I'm trying to calm down with the brilliant flows of ideas right now. Anyway... critisize my work if you see it! I need the help right now! See ya! :)
