Author has written 4 stories for Doctor Who, and Harry Potter. Obligatory Details: Name: Bellethiel Lindariel Age: 24 Sex: Female Nationality: Australian About Me: I'm an avid reader and compulsive writer. When I get the urge to write I have to drop everything I'm doing and write on the first available surface with whatever drawing/writing implement on hand. It makes things hard when you're working or on the bus/train and people see you suddenly scurry for pen and paper and start muttering under your breath. I'm slightly eccentric, I love to perform (drama and music), love to swim and I love to write. I'm terrible at responding to emails, text messages and the like, but I do generally get around to it sooner or later, so bear with me if you don't get an immediate response to your reviews or messages. I have a very busy life at times and I tend to write when inspiration strikes and my muses feel like being nice to me, so please tolerate any stories that are slow to update. Thank you to those who have added me and my stories as 'Favorites' it means a lot to me. I have also been introduced to the wonder of reviews and I've discovered that it's absolutely wonderful to have feedback for my work. I don't mind if people think that my writing could use improvement, I love being able to know and therefore be able to better hone my skills as an author. A note on Slash and Pairings: I feel the need to say this as on ff.net there appears to be a rash of intolerance to certain kinds of slash. Firstly, it's fanfiction, not the end of the world. Just because someone doesn't like the fact that you have put two characters together doesn't mean you get to rant. On the flipside if you don't like a pairing then don't bloody well read it, seriously. Secondly, have an open mind, it may not be canon, but there are some really good fics out there that take slash and make it work in the world, there have been some great fics I have read where when I first looked at the pairing I was unsure of how it was going to work, and then I got sucked in. Other times I read the first paragraph and thought that I needed to scrub my eyes. In that situation, I closed the window and stopped reading. I din't slam the author and insult everyone that liked it, I shrugged and remembered the Rules of the Internet #34. I have set up a dreamwidth account, by which one of my friends swear by, I post on this a little bit more often that I do ff.net. Most stories that I load up on here will also be placed on there, you will also run across some original work and brain dumps and general what not about my day-to-day life. Have a link: |
