Retired senior citizen ... amateur novelist .. beginning writings. Novel/screen play is drawn from many life experiences - with distortion & exaggeration of characters done a la "literary license." Storylines are similar to those found in some old movies such as "Ordinary People," "The Big Chill." "Bob & Carol and Ted & Alice" and recent TV such as "Desperate Housewives" - which unknowingly stole my original title of "Wisteria Avenue." Thus, "Waverly Woods" becomes the new title.

“Eddie” is the main character - a strong silent type who epitomizes the “still water runs deep” as there are numerous skeletons in his closet. The story opens with the development of a childhood “skeleton” that will torment him lifelong and ends with Eddie in prison for a crime he did not commit. Prior to adulthood Eddie felt “unusual” and “different” – but as he aged he realized that everyone had a skeleton or two in their closet. Just as he was feeling “normal” the finale skeleton appears that puts him away, wrongly, for a long, long time.
