With this story, I'm challenging myself to write the whole "realization and first kiss" thing without the use of role-playing, costumes, or major trauma. It may end up being really, really boring and require the intervention of an evil twin …

Yet another version of the happenings circa "When the Gun Goes Bang Bang Bang" but more of a deeper, darker challenge to show angst without resorting to 'Oops, I shot your dad.' Humor, love, sex, and a happy ending will happen.

AU: Callie's marriage to George is crumbling apart after a last attempt to save it by having a baby. Now, George has enlisted, her baby is sick, and Callie's world is falling apart. Arizona helps to bring a joy back into her life, awakening her from the dark world her life had become. M starting Chapter 7.

Callie is free after being in a loveless marriage and moves to Seattle and meets player Arizona.
