Lets get one thing straight... ITS A TAANG! AND I'M NOT CHANGING IT!

You can't just read the first chapter and hate it because it isn't a Kataang. Guess what? LIVE WITH IT!

Sure in the show it didn't turn out the way we wanted and people love Kataang and Maiko but us Taang and Zutara fans respect that and you people need to understand when you cross the line because seriously, it is immature and selfish.

This is my opinion: Mike and Bryan (Co-creators of ATLA) wanted to change the shipping BUT DIDN'T KNOW HOW! Because they started it with Kataang so they ended it like that. My source says that the Avatar creators are thinking of making a next book (Book 4: Air) where the shippings CHANGE to Zutara and Taang. Because guess what? It's meant to be that way. Not to mention the thousands of fans who prefer it that way. The creators of Avatar don't want to lose their biggest fans so the satisfy them with what they want.

Lemme ask those Kataang and Maiko fans this:

Why does Katara think it is her duty to be with the avatar?
Because Aunt Wu told her that she will marry a very powerful bender who she thought was Aang but Aunt Wu wasn't specific. She could've said a powerful earthbender or powerful waterbender or powerful firebender.

What does Katara think of Aang?
"A sweet little guy, like Momo!"
This shows that she thinks he is childish and immature. Either that or she thinks he's a fluffy creature. o.O

Why did Zuko only allow Katara to touch his scar in the Catacombs of Old Bah Sing Se?
Because she was going to remove his mark he wanted her to. She was going to free him. Not even Mai could do that.

Why was Katara so hurt when Zuko betrayed her?
Because she loved him and she didn't realise it. He betrayed her and she felt so hurt and upset.

In Ember Island we are told that it reveals your true self. Why does Katara say she is confused to Aang?
Because she doesn't love him the way he loves her. She feels a different connection with him and that is why she said she was confused.

Why is Mai so rude to Zuko?
"I just asked if you were warm, not for your whole life story"
She doesn't treat him the way he deserves to be treated. He has had a tough life and his 'Girlfriend' goes and says that instead of being comforting.

Why does it seem like Mai only wants Zuko to be royal herself?
"You know what would be fun? Ordering some slaves around!"
More like ordering Zuko around.

In Ember Island Mai acted differently toward Zuko. She was also shown to be flirting with a random guy (Ranjan). Why would she do that if she loved Zuko? You know the way she claims she does?
Because she doesn't love him like that, sure she said she said she loved Zuko more than she feared Azula but has anyone wondered if she was lying, or if she didn't realise it at first?

Why is Mai bossy?
"I think it means I kind of like you... But don't ever dump me again!"
A bit rude don't you think? I mean he is Fire Lord, he can do what he wants.

Why did Toph be nice to Aang that one moment after they left the cave in the Fire Nation?
"What you did back there, for those kids... was pretty cool... you set them free"
She was complimenting him on a job well done. That is rare for Toph... so why did she do it? BECAUSE SHE LIKES HIM!!!

Why did Aang care so much when Toph got her feet burnt?
"I hate looking for a fight... buat after what he did to Toph, I don't think we have a choice"
This is because he can't stand it if Toph got hurt.

Why did Aang over react when he heard that Toph went to see Zuko?
"Well, I kind of whent to see Zuko last night..."
"You What?!"
This is because he was worried for her safety and he didn't want Zuko to hurt her the way he hurt him, Katara, Sokka, Suki etc.
