Hello, peoples! I'm shimmerlite and I am super excited to be a fanfic writer! I really like to write (obviously), as well as do artistic stuff and sing when I'm not on the internet (also Netflix. Lots and lots of Netflix). I have been writing since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and I was glad when I found out that there was actually an entire community of people who wrote their own versions of their favorite stories (and that I was not insane alone- yay!).I feel like it is a personal duty to not publish any portion of my works until I have already completed them on my own time so that I can just have regular, perfect updates and not leave anybody heartbroken if I ever discontinue a story (seeing an uncompleted fic with "Last Updated: 2009" in the description can be a soul-crusher). So in the meantime, I will be reading and drawing inspiration from other writers (and I will give credit if and where it's due). Even if I don't know you on a personal level, I love you all and I deeply appreciate the fact that you will take the time to read and critique my stories. I am aspiring to be a professional writer and any critiques would be helpful- I want to be on my top game!Some of my favorite fandoms include (but are not limited to) Sherlock (tv & movies), the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phantom of the Opera, Once Upon a Time, Harry Potter, and Beauty and the Beast. I am always trying to expand my appreciation for entertainment, so if you enjoy something and want to suggest it to me, be my guest!
