Author has written 6 stories for Mediator. haha my old profile is so funny I sound like such an immature little geek. Basically, I love writing. It's a huge outlet for any emotion I may be feeling that I can't get rid of through physical exercise, which is how I usually cool down. I'm usually quite upbeat, but right now I'm having one of my moody days so please excuse me :) Oh and although I'm upbeat, I'm kind of lazy, which is why some fics haven't been updated in two years I think... but yeah I'm so lazy that when one of my friends piss me off I can't be bothered to fall out with them. And when my parents tell me to do something I don't agree with, I find it easier just to get on than try and challenge them so they're under the impression that we "get on", but really I'm just easy-going. I'm getting a provisional license later this year so hopefully I can get my license as soon as I turn 17- although I probably won't be allowed to have a car. Haven't written much about what stories I like so here goes: A year back I think Millie (MoondancingMillie) recommended that I should read the Twilight series. At the time, I was infatuated with the Mediator series, so I didn't read the books. Lately I have, and naturally I'm addicted. The only thing is, now that I've read the books, I don't think there's any way that I will ever be able to write any fics about the Twilight books. Not just because I'm terribly unorganised, but because in my eyes, everything about the book screams perfection. The language used, the storyline... so much is just the way it should be that I could never imagine changing anything- anything I wrote would be a disaster. Believe me, I've tried to write, I've even tried to read some of the fanfictions on Twilight. I can't bring myself to do it. Obviously, the Harry Potter series. Also a series I find to be untouchable. I think the only way I could write anything on Harry Potter would be if it was comedic, but nothing serious. Noughts and Crosses series. Still untouchable. You can tell my favourites are the ones I can't change. It's pretty much the Meg Cabot books that I can write tonnes about. No offence to Meg Cabot. She did, afterall, create Jesse. From her, the "Missing" and "Mediator" books have to be the best. The reason I can write so much about them is because her stories are very light hearted and don't explore a lot into a plot or storyline, everything is really basic- Suze loves Jesse. Jess loves Rob. See? Easy peasy. Junk The It Girl Series The Gossip Girl Series There are loads of other books. Like that one with the fish that has loads of lovely shiny scales but no friends? My favourite fairy tale is Rumplestiltskin, dont ask why it just stuck more than the others. I like reviews so go ahead and read. I don't care if reviews are negative, I just would like to know if people are reading my stories. It doesn't have to be an essay. Maybe just a "Cool" or "Crap" or "Get off FanFic you loser". :))) Xx |
