![]() Author has written 8 stories for Maximum Ride, and Harry Potter. "Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows." "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson About Me I'm an 18 year old girl living in New England. I've always had a passion for reading and writing, but never seem to devote enough time to the latter. Although I prefer original writing, fanfiction is a nice escape from having to think too hard. Besides, they say write what you want to read, so when the author won't write what I want, fanfiction is the perfect solution. Next Fall I will be studying Business Management and English with a minor in Non-Profit Organizations. Stories 2,000 Miles: This is to the song 2,000 Miles by the Pretenders. (Awesome song, by the way.) Max in on the plane to England, just after the boys left. She hears this song on the radio, and unwillingly relates it to her and Fang. She slowly accepts the fact that she misses her right hand man. Fax, at least as much as there can be without Fang actually there... ONE-shot. Fences: This is to the song Fences by Paramore, although I do not recommend listening to it while reading this. (Great song, but way too fast.) Max and Fang are still in the school, and they are nine years old. They are put in a room apart from the rest of the Flock, left alone for their spirits to break. Max needs to convince Fang not to give up. Fax, but more of a friendship level (they're only nine!) ONE-shot. Given Up: Given Up by Linkin Park. This is probably my favorite song-fiction, although it is rather disturbing. This is the life of an Eraser who has a flaw; he still has emotions. Will he be able to save his own skin by acting as inhumane as the other Erasers, ripping flesh from innocent beings? An inner reflection on an Eraser deciding whether life is worth living if you are disgusted with yourself for what you are doing. ONE-shot. The Flock is not is this. Free: Max grieving when she finally gives in to the fact that Jeb is dead, not just missing. Fang tries to comfort her, but she feels that, with Jeb gone, she has to be strong. They are in the hayloft of the stables near the E shaped house. This is actually written in present tense. I originally wrote it in past, but kept finding that I accidentally switched because it sounded better as present, so I just went back through and re-wrote it all. It was fun to write, but TORTURE to edit, so I hope you like it. I had another idea that would take place in this setting (same time and place,) but this kind of evolved from it and took it over, so here you go! Kind of fax, but they are still just kids... A New Voice: I gave up both versions two years ago, and am not sure that I can ever finish them now, but the OCs may appear somewhere else soon. |
