Hey! My name is Emily, I was born January 22nd 1990 just in case you want to know my birthday or calculate my age... at the time I'm updating this I am 27, but I may forget to update my profile for a while... :P So just calculate my age yourself if you want. And I'm known as luvtheheaven all over the internet lol!

I graduated Boston University in Massachusetts (graduated May 2012), and I posess a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I was unemployed for way too long but I started working full time as one member of a team of Administrative Assistants at a fairly unique type of job, and I'm pretty happy there, still settling into it. My first day at this job was October 31st, 2016. My other other paying job lasted only about a month from March to April 2013 and I also recovered from surgery and have spent from February 2015 to present volunteering on a peer-to-peer support hotline, which one I don't want to give away here though so I'm being vague. :P

By the way, having a Linguistics degree means I studied the science of human language, not that I speak a lot of languages. It also doesn't mean I was an English major or anything. Linguistics is it's own thing, I swear.

After 3-4 years on here, at the end of 2013 (when I was 23) I finally determined that my sexual orientation is "asexual". Yes. I am asexual. This may be why I personally don't ever feel like writing sex scenes, and in fact even romances with kissing and stuff I shy away from, sort of... or in my fics about romances, I like to also focus on family relationships and friendships a lot. This makes sense, now that I realize for me, everything I want in life is platonic, or romantic without any of the sexual stuff (I don't even enjoy kissing).

I'm an atheist and in past years more than now, I have spent quite a bit of my free time (when I'm not involved in fandom stuff on my computer) on my atheism hobby (basically listening to science/skepticism/anti-religion podcasts and reading blog stuff about that stuff and watching YouTube videos and all that - I'm a skeptic and secular humanist and these things are important to me) lol... my name luvtheheaven is not based on a belief in heaven - I don't believe in heaven. I created the name luvtheheaven a long time ago because I loved the show 7th Heaven.

Glee (probably my biggest fandom, and the one where I've read the most diverse stuff):

Karofsky, especially him having friendship moments with Santana (my platonic OTP is totally Santofsky and I've read literally everything about them that I could find) or with Kurt. I'm okay with shippy Kurtofsky stuff but I actually prefer it when Kurt is just a friend. The shippy stuff I mainly only like if they get to the ship part of it later in the fic and if first they're just friends.

Kurt & his family - Kurt/Burt, Kurt/Finn... I like Carole a lot too. I like Blaine being an honorary member. My favorite Klaine fics feature the family members (or Karofsky) too. :P

Fics that address the ableism on Glee and touch on issues in Artie's, Brittany's, or even Sam's experiences.

Fics that explore Blaine's parents being horrible.

Quinn/Puck in limited doses. I totally ship them but I haven't read as much about them. I don't like everything that has been written about them. I am kind of picky. I like it better if we follow them when they're still young, still reflect the characters we know well from the show, etc. I like hurt/comfort or a little angsty drama. I'm not into fics where the main focus is sexiness.

Brittana in limited doses. ;) Santana/Dani too. Or even Brittany/Artie. When written well I can enjoy them. I really like exploring Brittany as a real character rather than a big joke, while trying to keep her in character. Santana and Artie are two of my favorite characters.

Harry Potter:

The Maruaders (Sirius, Remus, James... limited Peter) Lily... ;) Especially if Sirius and Remus are not made gay for each other - that is usually not my thing. I have lately been getting a little more into it and slash Sirius/Remus does kind of make me happy in some cases. Honestly I don't like any of them being made gay except maybe Peter, mainly because I have less formed ideas in my head about anything Peter. Lily could be made gay/lesbian, I haven't read one of those, although I think I'd like it lol. I also like the idea of bisexual Lily, which I have read. I've read asexual Sirius and loved it. I generally love the idea of anyone being made ace, since I am ace and just... yeah.

Harry/Ginny sometimes, maybe. Also totally in love with the idea of asexual Harry. I could get behind asexual Luna or like I said asexual almost anyone.

Neville is a character I love so far in the limited fanfiction I've seen about him.

The future generation - Teddy Lupin, and Harry's kids, and maybe Draco's too. I really enjoy fics about them.

Teen Wolf:

Anything that is NOT Sterek usually is a welcome, refreshing, break. Lmao. I actually am growing to kinda like Sterek too but I kind of still prefer fics that honestly are not about Derek at all. Also no mentions of background Sterek. I really ship Stiles with girls. Gosh. Sorry. I like his female ships too much and I don't need him to be bi or gay. And Derek... I don't care about him one way or the other. He's never been my favorite character. And him being the only one people like to make ace kind of disappoints me since I want to like ace characters in fics.

Allison & Stiles friendship

Scott & Isaac friendship!!! Totally my OTP. I don't mind the idea of Allison/Scott/Isaac as a polyamorous ship, honestly. But I really like things being kept platonic, in general, in all fics, always, so stuff about Scott & Isaac just as friends is lovely.

Scott/Kira is lovely.

Bisexual or Asexual/Demisexual Kira is lovely.

Stories about Isaac and platonic bonds of any kind. Also stories that deal with his abusive past. Yes. I have a soft spot for them.

Allison. I just love her.

Sheriff Stilinski/Melissa McCall. Just yes. Please include them in every fic ever. Please. I love them as a ship or in a platonic way. I love both characters alone, and as parental figures for every kid on the show. I just... I just love them.

Veronica Mars:

Oh gosh, I probably could like anything at all in this fandom. I really do adore LoVe. Especially Logan, and Veronica, as their own epic characters. I love the characters and the writing of the show. I love nuanced explorations of Lilly and the gang of 4 friends before Lilly's death, but I don't like when Logan and Veronica seem completely unrecognizable -- there needs to be a balance between how different their characters really were back then and well, keeping them in-character to who we know they are later too. :P I crave good explorations of what Logan/Lilly were or what his feelings were when she died. I actually really like Cassidy's character in any form -- creepy murderer, or fixing the show and making him never having been evil... :P I really love Keith so much, Keith/Veronica is like my favorite father/daughter relationship on any show ever. I relate to their relationship strongly, having a wonderful relationship with my dad myself (and no relationship with my mother anymore). I love Keith/anyone though. I never hated Duncan the way the fandom often did. I feel a lot of sympathy for him, overall. I don't love the idea that he lied to Veronica about some important things for much of season 2, that felt out of character to me, all for the sake of mystery?? Idk. But if you explore that in a fic too, it works for me too. I've read things I've enjoyed including Mac, Wallace, even Weevil... really anyone. Do whatever and I'll probably love it.
