It's been 5 years since Santana and Brittany have spoken but when someone unexpected requests their assistance, a lot of old feelings come back to light. Caution: This is a slow burn. It's not until Brittany's left the cafe that she realizes that the paper in her hand isn't paper at all. It's a polaroid, new and shiny and glossy; just smudges of freckled skin and bright, bright blue eyes, crinkled and sparkling in amusement. Santana's heart thuds as she flips the polaroid over and finds, instead of the desired phone number, loopy script that reads "Find me."

AU. All Santana wants is some caffeine so she can push through an all-nighter and churn out an analysis of a book she didn't read. She gets more than she bargains for when she visits her neighbors to ask for a cup of coffee.

Sequel to A Different Life. Santana and Brittany deal with her break down while also preparing for a new addition to their family.

You've always known your mind works differently than others, and as you trail your eyes around the bland room, you're reminded of how different you really are, because normal people aren't forced to see a specialist once a week. EDITED.
