A pirate's life is a dangerous one, and death is not an unknown or uncommon visitor to the moby dick. Thus they found it helped to have one's last message to family and friends recorded on a tone dial wherever possible, to help ease the pain of their passing.

Sabo had watched the footage from Marineford enough times that he knew that this couldn't be true; there was no way Ace could possibly be standing behind him. Sabo had no idea what he signed up for when he promised to travel with his brother's crew. Now they are stuck on an island with a nasty habit of having two parallel universes meet each other. Well, at least now he knows what would have happened if the brothers had set sail together.

The story begins like this; He is seven and starving at sea, and he can't even cry because there is no water left in his body with which to create tears. His stomach feels like it has become concave, and as he curls himself up in a ball to stop the hunger pangs, he can count his ribs beneath his fingertips.

It started with a regret, one that lingered in Ace's mind minute's away from his deathbed; to see Luffy complete his dream. So what would happen if an unknown source wished away that regret? Waking up on the Going Merry at the start of Luffy's adventure, Ace tags along on the journey, deciding to change his fate when his journey comes to an end.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR CHAPTERS UP TO 751! Read at your own risk. With Luffy and Sabo's ideals coming to a clash, perhaps it's time for one of the brothers to honestly reevaluate his choices. It's funny how much one little thing can change the world. After Luffy finds a strange treasure chest floating in the water, the Straw Hats are transported to an alternate world—a world that's been drastically changed by their deaths. Now, they must decide whether to stay in this alternate world or leave their loved ones behind and figure a way back to their own. AU.

The Mugiwara crew docks at an island in the New World, where Luffy bumps into... Ace, Sabo, and Luffy? One Luffy learns how life could have been if he had set out to sea with his brothers, and another learns how it could have turned out if he hadn't.

Nightmares are still haunting the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, and every now and then he just needed a little comfort, a confirmation that he wasn't alone. (A one shot related to my story 'When Luffy Went a Little too Far', but can be read alone.)

They all had problems. They all had something wrong with them. So they went to the Going Merry Mental Institution. They met, and they were all insane somehow, but did it really matter?

How can it even be real? How is this in any-way right? The marine having succesfully hunted down most pirates, stopping the pirate era for good, the straw-hats shattered not going by that name any-longer. The loses that happened, the tears... It's not right. And one Pirate Captain, even after all of that bleakness, refuses to believe it, as he fights to put things back.

Every-thing is upside down. Some-thing about this situation is not right, but what exactl? It is hard to find out what is real and what isn't, in this bizzare situation at a very strange place.

"Well don't just stare at it! Look there's this old myth that if you eat a lot of vitamin C when you're sick, then you get better faster." Nami said and nudged the object in her hand closer to his mouth. He didn't really know what she meant by that, but if Nami wanted to share her treasure with him than he wasn't complaining.

Ace's eyes went wide before softening fondly. "Someone as forgetful as you? You probably won't remember tomorrow." "I don't forget the important stuff!" Luffy protested. "It's just a day. It's not important." One Shot, Brotherly love and a dash of nakamaship.

Zoro displays a rare show of affection for his captain who is drowning in guilt because actions speak louder than words, but sometimes what needs to be said, needs to be said. A semi-partner fic with 'Actions Speak Louder Than Words' in title & summary only.

Instead of rushing, the first boy waited. Instead of leaving, the second boy listened. Instead of being lucky, the third boy was caught.

Luffy goes overboard during a storm, and being the faithful first mate he is, Zoro dives after him. They lose the Sunny, and if their bad luck can't get any worse, they get picked up by the marines! Tortured, imprisoned, Luffy and Zoro will test their bonds of friendship to the very limit. Sorry, no romance, strictly nakama, but please review and I hope you enjoy it.

One would wonder how a group of misfits could protect one another. Thankfully there is a game that the Strawhats play that practices such protective skills, but not all are happy to play this game.

A rainy night, an unexpected threat, a desperate crew. And Zoro has never been so lost.
