What would happen if Shinji found a new hobby?

Instead of being abandoned by Gendo Ikari, Shinji is raised by Yui Ikari and trained to pilot Eva from a young age. Yui loves her son dearly, but she has plans for her son. How will Shinji stand to being manipulated by the woman he loves more then life?
