My entry for the Writer's Challenge, A Brother's Grief. I loved the idea for this challenge simply because I think a lot of people have lost site of who these character really are at their core. Deep, traumatized, scarred... There was a reason we fell in love with the characters and it had nothing to do with smut. So, they have genitalia. It's been established. They go beyond that.

The Dixon brothers have an unspoken pact. Whenever one of them gets sick or injured, the other one has to look after them. Merle had asked him earlier if he thought he should see a doctor and found another thing that hadn't changed; Daryl's pathological fear of hospitals.
