Beverly and Klingons! I originally posted this as Firinn3, but never finished it. I have more chapters, and would like to complete the story, so I'm re-posting the initial chapters along with some new material. I WILL finish it this time. :-)

A Dixon Hill Adventure in Absurdity... Re-posting/Re-working story from 2014

This story is the sequel to "Man Out of Time" and picks up immediately after the events at the end of that story. It is 2367 and following the recent return of Captain Picard from the Borg, the Enterprise crew is caught up in a complex and sinister plot which threatens to splinter the crew and Starfleet. They must stick together if the Federation as they know it is to survive.

What would it be like if one or the other decided to break the decades' old orbit one day? No fuss, no muss, no near-death epiphanies - just coffee, croissants, and a question all PC fans wanted to see asked on-screen.

AU of 'Rascals'. Picard's been deaged, but Starfleet can't find a way to undo it. Riker becomes his legal guardian, and Captain of the Enterprise. AU: What if Jean-Luc and Beverly never joined Starfleet? I believe fate would have drawn them together regardless. But then again, I have 'one ship' and it's for PC. Here's my take on the meeting between a young stage director and an esteemed archaeologist. COMPLETE.

The end of the Dominion War comes with a heavy price for Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Enterprise. A newly-signed treaty between the Federation and the Cardassians leads to an exchange of prisoners; an exchange that not only re-opens the scars caused by events on Celtris III, but threatens to finish what Gul Madred began all those years ago. (M for violence.)

Jean-Luc Picard never even wanted children aboard the Enterprise, much less children of his own. Beverly Crusher finds she may be giving him reason to reconsider. Post-ep for "Disaster." P/C. New fluffy epilogue added.

What if Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher met under different circumstances? Very different circumstances, say, in a different century. Would they still be attracted to one another? 2380. After the Enterprise suffers an attack, Picard ends up at Starfleet Medical under Beverly's care.

We all know the story. Jean Luc Picard falls in love with his best friend's wife & then lives with guilt for years after Jack is tragically killed in an accident. In this story I offer what I imagine might have happened both before & after Jack's death. The story follows basic canon and revisits a few TNG episodes. Chapter 7 has been re-worked a bit. Enjoy & review.

Let's face it, Nemesis did terrible things to TNG canon, not the least of which was the separation of the doctor and captain. I'm not one to let egregious errors fester, so here's my take on bringing our illustrious couple back together. Expect some romance, mild angst, UST, and maybe even a little bit of humour. Oh, and this hasn't been beta-ed, so please forgive me.

This is a follow-up story to "Cold Feet". I hadn't intended to expand on that, but my muse had other ideas. And experience has proven that I'm best to just hand over the reigns to my muse and let her roam free. They both want her. She wants them both. How many hearts will break? One, two, three? Or perhaps four?

They had been friends for years, and this was their last opportunity to become something more. But an unexpected intersection brings more questions than answers. AU. Completed.

Will Riker gets an advance copy of a Starfleet movie recapping the last fifty years of the Admiralty balls. A certain Captain and Doctor feature prominently. Will organizes a movie night.

Injured and dying on a remote desert moon, Picard has plenty of cause to think on the ways he'd always tried to do right by the Crusher family...and the ways he'd fallen short. Set during the latter parts of "Final Mission" and afterwards; concludes after "Data's Day." Complete. P/C.

Sequel to Parallel. Beverly Crusher is confronted with an alternate path - and starts to face some unsettling realizations. AU. Completed.

Jean-Luc 'resigns' from Starfleet and in the process is presumed dead; the crew deals with the after effects of Picard's death, Beverly trying to move on with her life and JLP trying to finish his mission to return to his life and the woman he loves. P/C

Alternate Reality. Takes place approximately 2374. Picard's shuttle mysteriously disappears, leaving tragedy in its wake.

Remember way back at the start of season one when Picard and Crusher weren't afraid of getting too close to one another? (I am blatantly ignoring the change to the game plan by TPTB, and am keeping in the spirit of Beverly's character serving as Chief Medical Officer AND Picard's love interest.) Here's how I think it could have played out... COMPLETE.
