23, living in Western Oregon and loving it, book obsessed (just a bit), writer, experimental cook, tentative pianist, hiker, tea drinker, rain lover, cat petter (does that even work?), and attempted poet. I'm absent minded, run a constant commentary in my head, and have a very odd, dry, self-depricating sense of humor. I tend to get lost in words, in my head, and in whichever city I'm currently trying to decipher my way through. I've traveled a bit, bumbled my way through several different languages (none of which I'm fluent in), and like deep discussions, among other things. Cats, chocolate, tea, history, books, the mountains, my adorable siblings, and feather pens being some of the those :) So, yeah...

Headphones and notebooks

and pens flicking over my lips again and again.

Cozy habits, tea and chocolate,

laughter in a small room.

Sunsets and slow music, candle flicker and kind words

Just sitting splayed out on the bed, legs crossed comfortably,

figuring the universe out.

That's me.

Spring days make me want to fly

the scent of books and the sea are my favorite -

although fresh rain and pine forests are a close second -

and 78 times out of 90 I am a child.

The others I am

worn and old and a soldier who doesn't know what to do with war.

That's me.

Sometimes my dreams are so vivid I can wake up tasting them.

I'm attracted to honesty:

real, unexpected laughter

flat out opinions

genuine hearts

sincere words, and

shy, awkward love, because what true love is all smooth and easy?

and strawberries warm from the sun.

That's me.

I've written a lot before, but never fan fiction..however, I do enjoy reading it, and have been inspired to try my hand. I am pretty much completely besotted with Harry Potter (the book series, although the character, too…) and could analyze the characters forever and ever. And I'm exactly 50% Ravenclaw and 50% Hufflepuff, just in case anyone wanted to know.
