My Favourite Things

The Lord of the Rings (films and books although I haven't finished reading them yet.)

Final Fantasy 8+ Final Fantasy 10 (Whole series really but especially those and X-2)

Harry Potter (books. The films are ok but they are nowhere near as good as the books. I bet a lot of you think the same about LOTR)

My fav stories are action-packed not just soppy romance. No offennse to all you romantics out there but some stories just go to far with the mushy stuff. Stories have to be fast and exciting especially FF8.

Now I've finished ranting maybe I should tell you some stuff about myself. I love Rock music but it has to still have some melody not just powerchords. Avril Lavigne and The Darkness are among my favs. I am a dedicated Ringy ( don't even know if that word exists have I just made it up?). Lord of the Rings is the best. My fav actors are Elijah Wood (Frodo) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas). Books I like: Harry Potter The Wind on Fire Trilogy by William Nicholson 'His Dark Materials' by Philip Pulman Ambitions: I don't really know what I want to do when I leave school. Nearly eveybody comes up with their ideal job when they are little but I've never been able to think of anything I'd be good at. Right now writing sounds like a good career choice because I love writing (even if I don't seem to do much of it) and reading books. Me loving books is a bit of an understatement - I think they are the best invention in the world. My teachers at school say that I'm good at writing, which is good but it is also major bummer because I have no excuse for not doing work at school.

I have just added my second piece - an FF9 poem 'If only'. It's a very short poem about Garnet from Steiner's POV. I think it's naff to be honest but you might disagree. #Yeah right!#

Right. Just so you know - I'm not dead! I have been experimenting with a lot of different types of writing over the past two years. Despite having been busy with SATs and now GCSEs, I had managed to produce a fair few chapters of Running and a story about pirates as well as some original stories, poetry and songs. I had been thinking of putting my recent work on the site but then I got my new pc. Typically all of the files were carried over except my writing. They just disappeared - off to the great waste paper basket in the sky.

So at the minute I have no stories whatsoever but I do think I will try to get some done. I am extremely sorry to those who have been waiting for a Running update. I am going to resume work on it and perhaps it will turn out better than I had planned. Thankyou.
