Tauriel and Legolas thouroughly enjoy fighting each other with their blades, but in the end that's not the only thing they enjoy.

Legolas and Tauriel's first meeting, or: Two little elflings decide to hate each other at first sight. Will it last? Probably not. Will they ever stop challenging each other? Unlikely. But after all, opposites attract, don't they?

Who was she, the red-haired elf that followed Legolas around like a shadow, never being too far away? The members of the newly founded fellowship can't help but wonder. When each member of the fellowship meet her, they all have their own theory of who she is and what she is to the prince of Mirkwood. She goes by many names and titles, but only one matters.

I lay there in the healing tent. At least that's what I suspected, regarding all those healers and the groaning soldiers on the floor. „Tauriel?", I heard someone whisper, the same voice I heard before.

I sunk down on my knees. „Tauriel", I whispered and brushed away a strand of her hair. „Mankoi?"

„I've got you", her capturer whispered in her ear. She shrieked in surprise and turned around. Grinning, he pushed her gainst the tree, trapping her there with his arms. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked into his blue eyes, getting lost in the ocean.

Sixty years since the Battle of Five Armies, and Tauriel still carries Kili in her heart. Legolas' feelings for the red-headed Silvan elf have not changed with time, and Tauriel, still grieving, is unwilling to open her heart once more. But with Legolas joining the Fellowship of the Ring and the war that is to come, perhaps, just perhaps, Tauriel will learn to love again.
