Addicted to writing, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I prefer 1st person - both when writing and reading, though lately I've been practicing 3rd person. As a writer my core strengths are characters and dialogue. I'm okay at most other elements but I need to work on my pacing.

As a critic I breakdown my thoughts on stories, why I may or may not have liked something, improvements that can be made, etc. As a person, I'm of the belief that if you can't justify a statement, or supply a reason why you feel the way you do, then the statement holds little meaning. A person can't improve if your feedback only consists of "[insert blank] is bad, change it" or "[insert blank] is good".

I value characters over everything else. Establishment, building, interaction. These are things I hold in high regard, and I'm always trying to do them better. A story can function without a good plot, but not without good characters. That said, a poorly written character is going lose my interest fairly quickly.

I started writing my own stories first, and fanfiction came afterwards. I cite this as the reason why I rarely read fanfiction from the POV of an existing character without there being major changes to them. I know OC-centric stories have a stigma attached to them, but that only makes me want to write them better.

Point out everything I do wrong and everything that can be done better, I don't know how to accept compliments.

Chase perfection. You won't reach it, but you'll get damn good results from trying.
