Author has written 1 story for Dragon Age. As of 28/8/11 Holy carp! The Call's first reception is great! So many hits, alerts and reviews. Wow. I didn't expect it, but thanks a lot! As I said in the first chapter, the story's main outline is done both on paper and in my head so it's really only a matter of typing out the chapters, of which I am a bit slow but getting better. An unexpected family tragedy (today) and a sprained ankle mean the second installment might take a bit of a while but hopefully not. I'm working on it! Thanks again for the reads and reviews, the second of which I'll respond to in-story. BIO. A little about me: I am a girl with a boy's name, nearly 20 (yipes!), living in London and psyched about the plotline for my newest fic and how it's going to plan out. I've been a fanfiction lurker for many years, even had an account a few years back, but never wrote anything. I just observed really, but that was way back in '06, hiding in library corners reading "naughty" fiction, naughty because it was M rated - ha! The silliness of youth. The first thing I ever wrote was for Sonic the Hedgehog, years ago in a little notebook I had before I knew about FF.net. I even drew illustrations to go with it, and my best friend and I compared stories we'd written and read each other's work. I'd like to think I've evolved from those scribbles since then, but I can't forget my origins. Dragon Age inspired me to post here, because of its rich world and characters. Isabela, you rock! Being a pirate lover sort of sealed my deal with you. When I played Origins (as my awesome dwarf named Hana) I thought to myself: there's not enough pirates in this game. Then in DA 2 Isabela came along as a main character (huzzah!), and I was happy. But my Hawke was torn between her and Anders (yum...) and in the end I couldn't decide. But in The Call, I decided to have that Hawke know exactly what she wants. I also like Mass Effect (Miranda! And maybe some Garrus, because for an alien, he's hot stuff) but I don't know if I'm brave enough to venture there fiction-wise. Not yet, anyway. There are many great stories on this site, and I can only hope that eventually mine becomes one of them. That'll be down to you! |
