Hello, my name is Chrissy :)

This is my first time ever being on a site like this. (so be nice cuz i'm new haha) I'm a 22yr old American who is currently studying English: Creative Writing at CSULB. I found my passion for writing during my senior year of high school. I've always enjoyed literature but only recently has my love for reading changed to writing them as well. I'm usually a short story writer, but have been pursuing the world of poetry more. For now, I don't foresee myself pursuing a professional career in writing (just a hobby for now). I really aspire to become a Math teacher. I've found that people only hate math because they do not understand it. But I say before you go and hate math, first understand it and be taught by someone who actually knows how to TEACH it, and then give me your assessment on math. Too many math teachers/tutors know the math (brag about calculus and beyond) but when it comes down to explaining it to another person, they absolutely suck at it. I take their "not understanding" as a challenge as well as an avenue to seek other ways of explaining the concept. (ok i'm done ranting haha)

To be honest, I only found this site from my downton abbey withdrawals (when the season finished) and stumbled across Sybil/Branson fan fiction. But after reading countless entries by just one author, I realized if she could do this then so could I.
