I thought it was time to write a new bio, as it has remained unchanged for the past five years!

I am still a huge fantasy fiction fan, and love the world of fanfiction. It was the Lord of the Rings that introduced me to this crazy, unpredictable world, but all the fanfics I have posted to date have been Harry Potter based. My reasons for being on this site are, first and foremost, to push myself to see a story through from start to end. I love writing one shots, but a big part of me believes I might have a shot at becoming a novelist one day, and hope that the feedback I get from you all will help me to achieve that. After all, I don't want to be in retail for the rest of my life, and I need a push to be brave enough to put in some serious work on my original fiction.

I tend to be heavily influenced by authors I am currently reading, so if you spot any major style changes between chapters then please let me know; it's a horrible habit that I need to break!

I spend a lot of my free time reading fanfiction but from now on I do intend to update my own, so feel free to nag me if I don't!
