Hi there folks, here's just a little information about your loyal friend and author:

I am a 25 year-old scientist, a sufferer of bi-polar disorder and dyspraxia - disorders I draw inspiration and talent from - who watches far FAR too much TV. I immerse myself in fiction to escape the tedium of real life; did you know a person mith an honours degree in Molecular Biology should consider themselves lucky to maintain a job waiting tables in a Pan-Asian restuarant?! Yeah, real life sucks backside, so you can see why I try to avoid it.

Back to relevance; I have an unhealthy affinity towards 'slash' which you may or may not (most likely 'may' if you have followed my profile from a fic) know is the slang term (coined from the '/'-sign between two names) denoting a homosexual relationship. I blame this unnatural level of interest on a further disorder I romanticize about possessing - gender issues. Anyone else ever have that feeling where they just aren't interested in heterosexual relationship because you hate being a girl? Maybe in my next life I'll come back as a guy and hate myself for being gay, sounds like my kind of luck...

So, the TV I'm interested in; CSI (the lot of them), Bones, Blakes 7 (Does it bug anyone else that there is no possessive ' between the e and s?), The Wire, Lost, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Chuck, The Mentalist, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, Tin Man, Top Gear, Glee, probably a whole bunch more, I'll update when I sober up (don't hold your breath).

Cartoons!: The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (most fucked-up cartoon ever), Total Drama Island (plus all subsequent franchises), Ed, Edd & Eddy, Xiaolin Showdown, and again, probably a whole heap more, but I am wasted right now, so my memory is rather weak.

Comics!: Almost entirely X-Men, but also a little more from the Marvel Universe. Oh, and The Boys (If you don't know about 'The Boys', I thoroughly recommend it, it is fucked-up).

Movies!: Dogma/Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, LOTR, I don't watch too many movies, there isn't enough time to properly establish the characters.

Books!: Anything by Stephen King, Harry Potter (Oh dear, am I predictable? The angst to be gleaned from the inherant misery of the older characters just SCREAMS slash), Artemis Fowl, the Cherub series, Skulduggery Pleasant (Hmm, lots of kids' books here...), The Game (I believe this was LJ Smith), Jeffery Deaver's books about that guy in a wheelchair, I forget his name...
