Well, hi there! If you're here, I probably fav'd one of your stories but didn't review, or possibly I fav'd and reviewed and you thought you'd drop by. Either way... Welcome!

So, basics: no, I do not currently have anything published. This is for a few reasons.

-First. The last time I was on a fanfiction site was when I was 13, and the story I posted got flamed on an off-site comm devoted to making fun of Marry-Sue authors. Honestly, yes, the story was total and complete crap, and I think the reply to their comments I posted was better than the story, but I was 13 and mostly just messing around, only expecting my friends to read the story. It crushed my self-esteem, killed that story completely, led to me deleting my account on that fanfiction site, and basically made me terrified of posting anything anywhere ever again.

-Second, and in conjunction with the above: If I'm going to write something, I want it to be perfect, beginning to end. I have a best friend who has volunteered to beta for me (she's a grammar freak like me, but she actually knows the difference between 'who' and 'whom', unlike me XD) whenever I decide to actually write my stories down and deliver them into her hands, but for the moment, all my story plans are in v 1.0, and I have no intention of posting them ANYWHERE until they've been upgraded, rewritten, and beta'd.

-Third: I abhor reading incomplete stories, so I won't post any^^

All that having been said, if you're still here... Hi again, and thanks for sticking around! My faves tell an interesting story (namely, that Mass Effect has conquered my life...which is true) but not the whole thing. Truth be told I have four basic fandoms I dabble in most, and these can be classified very simply. First and foremost is my husband fandom, the Harry Potter fandom. My first and favorite venture into fandom, I will always return there... Eventually XD. My BFF fandom is Star Trek, with an emphasis on the Reboot version. I like the old school stuff, but I relate to today's fandom much more. My go-out-get-drunk-come-home-wearing-someone-else's-shirt fandom is TRON, original and Legacy. I mean, c'mon, circuit sex. Need I say more? And then's there's my Mass Effect fandom, my secret sexy alien lover fandom. Most of my current faves are ME, but I will be collecting more from the others, and from various miscellaneous fandoms, the longer I'm here... and once ME3 comes out so I can play it so I can map out my fic-in-progress and stop being so obsessed XD If you want a recommendation for any of these 'doms, just ask! My lists for both HP and ST are as long as the side of my screen, and I love sharing and discussing fics! I will warn you, however: I hadn't read a het fic in years before I dived in the ME world, so don't ask for het recs from any of my old faves XD

Some not-so-fic-related things to know:
I LOVE cats, Broadway musicals, and dragons.
I graduated high school with poor grades but a decent GPA, no science classes beyond those basic and required, the barest understanding of economics, politics, and taxes, but I have every intention of becoming an aerospace engineer, more commonly known as a rocket scientist. Go figure.
I can't always type properly. I don't know why, really, but on occasion my fingers get the right letters for the word I need, just not in the right order. I mix up words like 'site' and 'sight' completely unintentionally, and it kinda happens without my realizing it most of the time. If there's ever a problem like that in a review I post, please know that it is a brain short and not on purpose^^
