![]() Author has written 5 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Jeepers Creepers, and Walking Dead. Updates . . . 19 Sept. 2013: It only took me 9 months, but I finally have Chapter 10 of MZV posted . . . -_- MSN IM Address/Email: Vasnyya_Ynnivaak@msn.com About me . . . Hello, there. My name is Zalika. I am pursuing a career as a police officer. I'm originally from Niagara Falls, NY (USA) but I currently live in Ada, OH (USA). Writing is kind of a hobby of mine, and I'm also working on a Star Wars saga of novels that take place after ROTJ as well as an original crime novel called Dodger, both of which I may try to publish upon completion. I am 25 years old, though I have been told that I am wise beyond my years. I play ice hockey and am a HUGE Buffalo Sabres fan! I am also a planet hunter! :D Planet hunters search for previously unidentified objects in our universe. We seek to discover not only planets that orbit other stars, but also new stars, novae, black holes, and even galaxies. I currently have 11 confirmed discoveries of exoplanets, three of which have been validated by NASA. I have also identified and classified a delta scuti star, a pulsar, and two red giants. I have most likely the oddest and most unplanned out path before me. Actually, it's not really a path; it's more of a twisting, unpredictable, rollercoaster-like railroad randomly covered by sand and pebbles in certain areas, ultimately leading into an abyss. This railroad shortly thereafter probably has an ending with one of my horrid creations gnawing at it. Anyways . . . I've grown tired of having my life story wittily scrolled across a page in binary code. So, I've decided to give you a virtual depiction of my personality so that you'll never want to speak to me if you're sane. I do have a social life. I realise that a lot of people on websites such as these do not. I do, however, hate people in general. I trust a select few. I have experienced a lot . . . from the ordinary to the inconceivable, from the good to the bad, from miracles to devastation . . . in my short time here on Earth. Because of that, there are few things in this world that I fear. Most would say that such lack of fear is beneficial; I, however, question that theory. Fears inspires us. Fear motivates us. Fear is one of our greatest protectors. I have an impeccable hidden talent for survival. I excel at living. Most of the world does not. I say we should advocate murder and suicide on the TV a bit more often. I have this strange delusion that the world revolves around me. Then, I remember that I am living in my own little world, and in my world, this Earth does revolve around me. I suppose that's unfortunate for those without mind control. People are often burdened by the various rules and laws of this universe . . . mainly because it benefits me. Though I must admit, while the Earth is busy revolving around me, my friends are standing beside me. So let me correct myself and say that the world revolves around me and the people who are important in my life. I have a saying that I live by: "Mess with me, you have a problem. Mess with my friends or family, you're fucking dead meat." Quotes by others that I live by include: "Hakuna Matata.", "You can love me or hate me. I swear it won't make me or break me.", and "Your attitude towards life determines life's attitude towards you." . . . just to name a few. I'm fairly cold and/or cynical. Sometimes both at the same time . . . Well, at least until you get to know me. Then you'll see that I'm not quite as mechanical as your first impression led you to believe. Quite the opposite, in fact. Sorry, compassion isn't really "metal," now is it? I don't try to offend anyone; it just comes naturally. I am direct and to the point. Sugarcoating has no place in my life. If you get offended by something I say, you're probably weak. That being said, if you're afraid that you will offend me, get over it, and say what's on your mind. Oh yeah . . . I also don't give a flying fuck about what you or anyone else thinks of me . . . unless we become friends, of course. :) I stay out of everyone's little drama-ie drama. One of the best traits I inherited was my inability to care. I'm not someone you can see right through. Actually, I am quite tangible and opaque. I get bored easily. Do something amusing and possibly painful to yourself to keep my amusement afloat. Would it kill you to eat a live rat or vomit up an organ on web cam once in awhile . . . ? Provided that rat isn't rabid, and provided that organ isn't necessary, the answer is no. So let's be a tad entertaining instead of the mindless whore-clones you are . . . My purpose on FFN . . . I'm one of those writers that puts a lot of effort into plots, detail/description, and character formation. I love to flood my stories with subtle significance that the average person may not pick up on. I do not write faerie tales. I have a very analytical mind. You'll notice the essence of it in my fictional creations, as well as my wisdom. My stories are very thorough and because I believe that there is always room for improvement, I am constantly going back and adding more to make my literature even better. Likewise, I search for reading material that is much like my own. I am a teacher, but I am also a learner. If I open up your story, I hope to not only enjoy it, but gain something from it as well. Oh yeah, and I'm also a Grammar Nazi and a Spelling Soviet, lol. FFN is where I get my "chick fic" fix. I hate romance novels and movies, or anything centering around the genre of love. Why? Because romance movies and novels involve characters that are general and created for the story itself. If I'm going to read romanctic stuff, I want it to be about a character that I am already obsessed with. When I find a character like that, I want to know more about him. Fanfiction allows anyone to take any character they please and focus on him/her. I don't want to read about Joe Blow and Jane Doe's romantic drama. I want to read about a specific fictional entity who caught my interest for reasons unrelated to love and intimacy. As of right now . . . those characters are Shane Walsh from The Walking Dead, Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers, and a few others. I absolutely loathe Mary Sues and Gary Stus. I will only read stories about the characters I like if they are kept in character. Why? Because whoever and whatever they are is what attracted me to them in the first place. I have a thing for male villains who are emotional wrecks like Davy Jones, Shane Walsh, and Darth Vader. But they aren't the only types of men I like to read about. Sometimes it's just because I think they're hott or cool in some other way. lol Besides, how else am I to satisfy my need to read erotica? XD Outside of this website, the novels that I read and write have little or nothing to do with the genre of romance. I won't even look at that genre if it isn't an M-rated fanfic. Of course, I also look for stories of MANY other genres on here. Basically, when I am looking for fanfiction, I select the character that I want to read about and search without adding a genre. Most of the stories that I read here on FFN are under the categories of suspense, crime, horror, romance, general, drama, hurt/comfort, and angst. I'd love to hear from fans! Feel free to IM me, email me, or add me as a friend on Facebook. Suggestions for stories are gladly welcomed! PLEASE KNOW THAT MY INCOMPLETE YU-GI-OH! STORIES ARE ON A PERMANENT HIATUS BECAUSE A. I'VE LOST INTEREST, AND B. THEY ARE OLD, POORLY WRITTEN, AND HAVEN'T BEEN TOUCHED BY ME IN SO LONG THAT I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT! LOL! My only ACTIVE stories are My Zombie Valentine and The Truthful Lie (the latter of which needs to be re-written simply because what's posted was written YEARS ago and I've drastically improved my writing skills since then.) |
