Hello lovelies, you found me! I'm just a 20-something chick who gets way too attached to fictional characters and spends her life writing but never publishes any of it! I read more fic than I write and the phases of fandom I go through is plain to see from my bookmarks!

If anyone was wondering, I recently changed my username from enigmaofherself to thecheshyrcat. I still write as the first name on other fic sites.

Currently the only story I have on this site is my fic for Warrior, 2011 which features the devastatingly brilliant Tom Hardy. I started writing it in 2012 then stopped after a while, only picking it up in 2015 to rewrite the chapters already uploaded. It took me two years to complete the rewrite due to a lot of change in my life and a lack of finding the time or inspiration, but recently in July 2017 I completed the rewrite and continued on with the new chapters. It will soon be finalised for real and I can finally say goodbye to a very short fic that took a very long time to complete.

If you're familiar with my account you may have noticed I've had a bit of a clear out! I had a whole fic series for the movie The Covenant, written between 2007-2012. I really loved writing those stories but I was 14/15 at the time, and it really showed in my writing. So it is with a heavy heart that I removed the whole series from my account. It wasn't just because of my premature writing skill but also because I had included tropes and storylines in my writing that I don't think I represented well. Thank you for all my lovely reviews and favourites, I loved the interaction I got with my readers at the time and it really helped me grow as a writer.
