Hello, I’m Aurora! I live in Southern California. I’m a fan of quite a few things, as you’ll soon realize, and tend to get unreasonably worked up over my favorite characters. I once became inconsolable for several hours after reflecting on the fact that Natsuki Kuga from Mai HiME wasn’t real and therefore would never ask me on a date; but that’s history. These days I go to nursing school and hang around antagonizing my friends. The rest of the time I work on my cosplays and plan out my next anime convention. Also, fanfictions. Mmm, fanfictions…

-My Little Pony: I honestly don’t follow the show that much anymore, but I love reading fanfictions about my favorite MLP pairings! There are some really cute AMVs out there too!

-Glee: Again, I don’t watch the show anymore—stopped just before Kurt graduated, I think—but the character of Kurt can have so much depth to him when you read some of the fanfics out there. Wes and David get less props, but I’ve got a fanfiction going for them on here. It’s a bit of a struggle because I love the plot I’ve got going with PR, but I just don’t know about the show anymore. I might just steer it into a soft landing soon, since I have the next chapter just about done. I’d hate to leave something I loved making so much unfinished.

-Hetalia: Yet another fandom I no longer follow. I will say this, however: no one does angst quite like Hetalia.

-Ouran High School Host Club: Finished the anime and working on some fics that I might add to this website at some point. I’m a huge fan of Kyoya.

-Mai HiME/Otome: Finished both animes and still hopeful that Natsuki will come have her way with me someday. I still really like my main fic for this fandom, SIA, but I’m a little uninspired lately. I’m not out of plot, though.

-Avatar: the Last Airbender: Finished the anime, not a fan of the sequel with Korra. I went through most of the series hating Zuko’s guts, and then out of nowhere the Zuka fandom crashed into me like hey and the rest has been history.

-Danny Phantom: I quit watching it somewhere in season two, but not before I got ahold of the Identity Crisis episode where they split! Pitchpearl was the result.

-Free!: I’m following the series, which is currently on season two, Eternal Summer. They should rename it to “Everyone Wants in His Trunks but Haru Leaps Obliviously into the Pool.”

-Frozen: Best Disney movie yet—I don’t care what anyone says. It does leave anyone looking for a femslash pairing for Elsa in a bind, though. Elsa/Ana works for me, but I don’t write it; Elsa standing her own is fine by me.

-Harry Potter: AKA the common denominator for most people on this site. I’ve read the books and watched the movies, and sometimes I get confused when separating cannon from fanfiction. What a time to be alive.

-Merlin: I stopped at the beginning of season five due to feels and I’ve got to keep going! Like three fanfictions are practically making themselves as I go over the episodes I’ve already watched, stalling off the final season.

-Pokémon: I don’t even know where I stopped anymore. I’ve watched the first four movies but I feel like I’ve skipped around too because, you know, 4Kids and Cartoon Network.

-Rise of the Guardians: I’m so fussed over Jack because he is, in my opinion, very pretty. Not handsome, not hot, but beautiful. He’s my favorite male animated character by far.

-Sherlock: I hit a wall after season two—oh I wonder why?—but now that the next episodes are out, it’s time to stop sulking.

-Toy Story: Damn you, childhood and your related feelings! I personally find Woody perfect. He changes during each movie and, okay, maybe he’s my favorite.

Story Status:

For not updating for a disgustingly long amount of time, I know some of you are questioning the legitimacy of my birth and other swear words that have literal definitions. I think we can all agree that these are all on Hiatus I need some inspiration and time so I don’t post some fail that may or may not make people set my laptop on fire.

The Panic Room, (PR); Glee: I’ve got the next chapter ninety percent written, but, as it has been for the past few years, the chapter cap eludes me…

Pretty Like A..., (PLA); Hetalia: Great experiment writing this oneshot! Pull a bunch of reactions out of people I wasn’t expecting.

Passive Aggression, (PA); Mai Otome: I had this whole explanation about fempreg for the plot and all this good stuff but then—nothing. And oh how that haunts me.

Overprotected, (OPro); Mai Otome: People are convinced I hate Nao after this, but really I think she’s the only one with a spine consistently being shown during the course of the series. For that reason, she’s the only one I’d say could be as badass—and, okay, tactless—as shown.

Say It Again, (SIA); Mai Otome: I’m still hoping to get to that wedding scene, but like all my other fanfictions, there’s not so much a problem with the plot as there is me weaving it together to come up with something consistent with what’s already been posted. I wouldn’t ask anyone to hold their breath on this one.
