Author has written 8 stories for Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice, and Misc. Plays/Musicals. Is your brain melted yet? I tend to like truly horrific pairings because they are a challenge to write, plus there's just something pleasing about making a terrible idea work. In fact, pretty much all the fanfic I have written has been based on some truly awful concept or pairing. I just can't help it. If it's not kind of cracked-out, I don't end up following through. This means that some of my fanfic has more basis as far as being remotely justifiable in the original text than others, because sometimes I just write one-offs to a crazy set of criteria that someone provides (read: dares) me. I do try to keep things at least somewhat in character (even if you have to squint) because otherwise there isn't much point, but don't expect arcs with consistent characterization from story to story; I don't have "a Javert" or "an Erik," although unfortunately I do sort of have a Slash!Thenardier who is relatively consistent. If this horrifies you, just be thankful that I don't have the heart to post the Yoda/Dobby/Gollum fic that someone dared me to write. |
