Author has written 1 story for Phantom of the Opera.

"because I lacked the courage of a rose, I could not set him free."
-Kay's Christine

Something had to be done about the above quote; and so, here I am. My name is lenore (yes, of Poe fame). It is indescribably hard to quickly summarize yourself, but I'll try!

I love the classic beauty and the beast precept; so that means Phantom in all of its many reincarnations- but especially the original novel. Anyone who feels the need for a long, detailed discussion of symbolic elements in the book, musical, or movie- I am always ready and willing. Fittingly, I suppose, I absolutely love opera.

Other 'favorites' of mine include Les Miserables, Beethoven, The Fountainhead, the song Hatikva...the list is quite long, and generally irrelevant to PotO fanfiction writing.

I dislike wanton adoration of ANYTHING without reason, rhyme, or dignity (ie: I'm not a squealing phangirl). That being said, I am a hopeless romantic with a love of tragedy. From Jean Valjean to Edmond Dantes and Aladdin to Percy Blakeney, from Zaphod Beeblebrox to Prince Caspian to Howard Roark and, of course, Erik- you name him and I love him.

Take a glance at some of the wonderful stories and authors in my favorites section- awe and wonder guaranteed.

Currently, I am working on one story: Whispered Roses. It is planned as a series of coordinating Leroux based vignettes. Be forewarned, however, that I take frequent liberties with both characters and the storyline. I will detail all of that in the prologue of the story. ; )
