About the author.

gates40K grew up on science fiction, reading books from authors such as Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Niven, Harrison, Bova, and others. By the age of twelve, he completed a 132 page hand-written original sci-fi novel. He swears he'll publish it someday, although the fact that it's in its eighth rewrite suggests that someday may not be someday soon.

Getting back to sci-fi, he admits to having participated in the whole rival fandom thing in the early '00s by posting to groups like alt.startrek.vs.starwars; where he posted his first crossover fic. The whole anime and manga thing came later, when he was introduced to shows like Tenchi Muyo, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell. He admits to watching Evangelion and being thoroughly confused, though not as confused as he was when he watched FLCL some years later. He went through a big Haruhi Suzumiya kick a few years back, and considers his introduction to K-On! to be a lucky accident.

gates40K lives in the desert southwest of the United States, where he flies model aircraft in his off-time and maintains a carefully cultivated collection of antique and modern firearms.

5 June 2012 - Left 4 Moe now has a snazzy cover. Drawing anime isn't my strong suit.
25 June 2012 - Left 4 Moe now has Chapter Nine up. Chapter Ten currently stands at one scene complete.
27 February 2013 - Left 4 Moe is undergoing a bit of a facelift. I've started updating the earlier chapters with revised editions. The revisions mostly tighten up the writing style a bit and bring it in-line with how the later chapters are structured. I've also cleaned up some things that I missed when I published those chapters a year ago. Work on the main story is still ongoing, and this cleanup effort won't affect my release schedule of new material (such as it is.)
