Post-game AU: Landing on a new and untamed world is far from convenient for Lightning and company. Even in a seemingly godless existence, humanity's flaws persist, some wrongs can never be righted and memories bind them to the past. Hope fears the ties are unbreakable.

Fang grows up as a boy, but when femininity starts to develop, he's at a loss. Striving to fulfill the expectations of his admired father, Fang works to hide his girlish abnormalities in shame as he tries to perfect himself for his arranged marriage.

Lightning is a general in Guardian Corps and is sent on a mission to save the L'Cie from genocide. The only survivor does something most failed to do: get close to Lightning. Has elements of other Final Fanatasy games but focuses on Lightning and Vanille.

AU:Lightning comes out of crystalstasis in the middle of a revived conflict with PSICOM, the last l'Cie to wake after the fall of Cocoon. Hope has a five year head-start, but even his expert mechanical skills can't fix the bigger problems of their future.

"There was something about Vanille that pulled him close, closer with each passing day; it was almost insane and he wasn't so sure that it was all just because of his young age or his rushing hormones or…something deeper and more dangerous."

"Every single memory I have about her is still there, lingering around in some corner of my mind. They come out like dragonflies, spontaneously, glimmering, unstoppable." Kind of spoiler-ish about the end of the game
