My favorite TV shows are "How I Met Your Mother" (not including the series finale), "Freaks & Geeks," "Friends," "The Office," "Arrested Development," "Happy Endings," "Glee," "The Fosters," "Modern Family," "Workaholics," and "Happy Days."

My favorite books include "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and the "Harry Potter" series. I love the movies for each book series as well even though there are some differences between the books and their onscreen adaptions.

Some of my favorite characters from TV are Sam Evans, Blaine Anderson, and Finn Hudson from "Glee;" Andy Bernard, Michael Scott, and Erin Hannon from "The Office;" Barney Stinson, Robin Scherbatsky, and Marshall Eriksen from "How I Met Your Mother;" Chandler Bing and Ross Geller from "Friends;" Nick Andopolis from "Freaks & Geeks;" Gob Bluth and Michael Bluth from "Arrested Development;" Brad Williams, Alex Kerkovich, and Dave Rose from "Happy Endings;" Potsie Weber, Richie Cunningham, and Ralph Malph from "Happy Days;" Opie Taylor from "The Andy Griffith Show;" Lex Luthor from "Smallville;" Mohinder Suresh from "Heroes;" Phil Dunphy, Haley Dunphy, and Andy Bailey from "Modern Family;" Ron Weasley and Severus Snape from "Harry Potter;" and Gandalf the Grey, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, and Legolas Greenleaf from "The Lord of the Rings."
