A Harry Potter fan that has joined the Twilight fandom as well. :D To me you just can't compare the two, they are two different types of story lines.

Some of my friends lovingly call me a bookworm but I'm ok with that. I like to read in my spare time - but I also do other things too. Rowing, for example, is my life.

As you can see, A New Beginning, Falling For You, and Summer Love, were published back in 2003... when I was about 13-14 years old.

So in a nutshell, they kinda suck.

However, my inner-child does not have the heart to delete them, which is the reason why they are still floating around in the fanfiction universe. So please, don't tear into a young girl's (who was just stepping into the creative writing realm) writing. Because yes, you will cringe. And yes, my 22 yr old self cringes right along with you.

It is embarrassing how long I have been absent from this story. It is not that I have forgotten about it, it is just life got in the way and I was having a hard time trying to get back into the groove of writing again.

Surprisingly after reading non-stop Twilight fanfics (check out my Favorites list, you will NOT regret it) it has given me the spark of inspiration to start writing again. Even if it is for another book series. haha

I deleted AYTR and I think I am going to start over. I want to do more tweaking around with some of the chapters and perhaphs elaborate more on certain parts. But as a reminder I DID start before HBP or DH so certain people are going to still be alive. But I am going change some things around and try to at least tie in the sixth book. I hope it turns out even better than before. It's been a few years since I first wrote it so going over it again I noticed some stuff I could make better. Maybe that 300-level English was useful. :)

I realized that I definitely have other stories written up on this site that I haven't looked at in... well almost years. I looked back and started re-reading them and I hate to say it... I cringed. All those gramatical errors and how I was just all over the place! :) Ah well, I was 12/13 when I started writing those and I was a very die-hard HP fan. Don't get me wrong, I still am but I think I have cooled off a bit. haha I still think Summer Love is pretty funny although it may not be the best fic around. Just something crazy that I thought would be fun to put in HP terms. Anyways, throughout the years I have matured in my writing (I hope I have anyway) and I hope for those of you who read them for the first time don't bash them too much. haha I was young, afterall.

But it's good to be back after a loooooooong absence and look forward to continuing (and finishing) AYTR.
