I'm a first time author not much else to say except work way to muchand don't have any money to show for it and I'm a sci-fi and anime fan who has only started watching and reading about the various shows and movies of the genre in the last few years or so.
So far my favourites are Sailormoon(the one wich got me into anime in the first place),Bubblegum Crisis(both),Tenchi Muyo(all, although the Tokyo series waas not the best still one of my favs),Neon Genisis Evangelion,El Hazard and more recently Ah! My Goddess,Dirty Pair and Cowboy Bebop. And am in the process of collecting all the above mentioned shows all on DVD.
