I changed the title of this since only a few of the pieces were actually drabbles and I didn't entirely follow NirCele's prompt list. They're more very short stories that don't belong anywhere else. He had been many things in the Second Age, but when the Third dawned; when they had won the last battle and said farewell to the last of their kin, he became the High King, as Gil-galad had wanted. A 30 Day Headcanon Challenge primarily regarding Elrond - his life, his love, his family. From the beginning of his life, even unto the end after the sea has called him home, here are a few snapshots of his life and those in it.
