![]() Author has written 7 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Stargate: SG-1, and Battlestar Galactica: 2003. My writing journal (mainly sci-fi) is online at If the length of a bio is relative to the age of the subject, then this should be rather shortish. I'm a university student with an itch for fiction and, very rarely, the odd poetical inspiration. There's a list of my scratchings at the bottom of this page. I'm not much into emo or fluff - but I thrive on good solid plots, plausible action sequences, double meanings, and the English Language as Art. I DO NOT read, write, or review slash. If you leave a review, I'll try my darndest to look at your work and reciprocate! (Exception: if u massicree ur speelling n gramma, itz wurth niether my tyme or your's.) I value your feedback. My 'Favorites' List: These authors are on here because they can write. They combine language mastery with solid plots and an expert grasp on canon worlds. Currently Working On: Right now my focus has shifted to original fiction; check out my online journal or fictionpress.net About the Stories that I have Posted on ff.net: C.S. Lewis/Narnia Agape: This was a suddenly-inspired piece, one-shot, that demanded to be written. Peter is the Narnia character that resonates most strongly with me, and by necessity the central human character of this fic. (Because, when you think about it, Narnia is not about magic and children, but about Aslan.) Apparently it's pretty popular, with 500 reads, so if you want to see whether my reviewers are justified, take a look! Regina: Susan has never been a problem for me, but a question. This might be because I am unashamedly fundamental and hold to the doctrine of assurance. But what is the cost of turning away? This story is based on a suggestion I once heard. J.R.R. Tolkien/Lord of the Rings In the Face of the Shadow: An semi-epistolatory fic set before the Last Alliance, as Sauron advances from Mordor for the first time. It's based on true events (or at least generally accepted legend); rated for violence and death. The Elves and the Shoemaker (Revised Ed.): This was written in high school, and IMHO it shows. A light read that tries to stay canon, but takes poetic license. Stargate: SG-1 and Atlantis Valediction: My first ever Stargate fic! I haven't written any before ... because I'm too scared to chance messing up the greatest characters ever ... but this was inspired by sunny-historian's Donne-based Wimsey fic (many thanks). Oneshot, SamJack first person, just before Carter leaves to take command of Atlantis. Please review this one - did I get it right? (Whoa, it's now past the 1000 hit mark.) Battlestar Galactica (2003) The Substance of Things Hoped For: Written for a writing workshop - I didn't really realize that it could be viewed in terms of BSG until I sat back and looked at it. And it can be, vaguely. Using the framework of BSG - destruction of everything, hope of reaching Earth, etc, the simple longings of an anonymous soldier can take on a deeper meaning. |
