Topic One!

Ginny.

Ginny, well, I didn't mind her in book 5. Now I realize OotP was the start of Ginny Sue/Super Ginny. First thing is: in hbp (It was so horible it does not deserve capitals or the correct spelling of horrible because that would be an insult to the word horrible) she was little miss perfect, no faults, pretty, gets the guy. She basically used Dean to get Harryangry and jealous. Personaly, I thinks she's a little ice queenwho most likely used a love potion to make Harry fall in love with her.

Topic Two!

Mary Sues/Gary Stus.

I hate them so much that I devouted a whole poem to their death and destruction. (It was a funny poem but still...) If you want a main character fall in love with some one, make it a canon character. But if you insist on making it a fan character, give him or her faults.Have thecharacter powerful, but deathly afraid of bees, spiders, water, and small bits of paper for example. No one will like or really relate to the character unless they have feelings and fears and desires. No one is perfect, it would be impossible for any one person to not be afraid at times or be angry. The best fan character is one someone can relate with. Not someone they want to strangle.

Flamers.

Just plainly, if you have nothing good to say, don't say it at all.

Topic Four!

Overly described deaths.

I once saw a good story, very disciptive, very detailed. Until they got to the part where a character (I think it was Sam from Danny Phantom) died. They descirbed it to a point where I nearly threw up. If a character dies in your story, just say they died. I think the story was a one shot. If the death would not have been overly descirbed, the story would have been a real tearjerker.

Anouncing the twist to the story in the summary.

Please, I think that just is self explanitory. You would think you would not anounce a wonderful twist in the summary but I have seen it happen!
