I hadn't noticed till today, but for once I was actually reading the notifications on the homepage - spurred mainly by the wide spreading annoyance that is the threat of stories being banned for the smallest infraction by fellow ff.net members - and saw this one for the fourth of June: Please note we would like to clarify the content policy we have in place since 2002. FanFiction.Net follows the Fiction Rating system ranging from Fiction K to Fiction M. Although Fiction Ratings goes up to Fiction MA, FanFiction.Net since 2002 has not allowed Fiction MA rated content which can contain adult/explicit content on the site. FanFiction.Net only accepts content in the Fiction K through Fiction M range. Fiction M can contain adult language, themes and suggestions. Detailed descriptions of physical interaction of sexual or violent nature is considered Fiction MA and has not been allowed on the site since 2002. Whoops. I know that a lot of people liked my fics, especially Nail in the Coffin, so I'd like anyone who reads this to know it was a personal choice and not because of those individuals that are forcing the site mods to delete targeted stories and or harass authors. So, while I'm thankful to all of you that favorited, bookmarked, and reviewed my stories, I've taken them down upon now having full knowledge of the rules. Thanks to all of you that supported me and I hope that I'll have something to post that isn't purely smut but, if you're really jonesing for something that's purely smut then please contact me and I'll try and link you to a site or fic that has yet to be taken down.
