Name Change: From Major Gilmore to Raven Beleren

I’m supposed to write something about me… well ok a little bit to the person behind the Nickname Major Gilmore. My real name is Elisabeth, ok it’s my second name but hey I like this one better so, bite me (not literally thought). I’m from Austria, the country where RedBull and Falco came from. I’m a little nerd and I’m crazy about books. Just love ‘em. K, I love reading (obviously), writing, playing Computer and like all other games systems available and of course I love to watch TV-shows and Movies.

If I’d tell you what TV-shows I watch you’d be reading for a really long time so I just mention the real important ones. The Vampire Diaries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Bones, Roswell, Dawson’s Creek, Supernatural, Fringe, Stargate, Lucifer just to name a few. Although I love TVD, Buffy is all times #1.

I always knew who would end up together as a couple. Like with Joey and Pacey, even as Joey was together with Dawson, the save choice (seeing similarities here?) I always felt she belonged to Pacey and voila I was so right. She choose the rebel, the bad guy (again, similarities anyone??) and although they broke up, in the end it was J&P. Or with Michael and Maria, I knew, I just knew this two would be an epic, earth shattering couple and again I was right. These two had far more chemistry than Liz and Max and for me it was always M&M. That leads us right to Buffy and Angel. I know there is the thing with Spike and him being all good and actually fighting to gain a soul for Buffy but c’mon guys really? Was there like ever before a love like Buffy and Angels? The hunter and the hunted. “Rather poetic” if I may quote Guiles. Yeah sure Spike loved her without soul but so did Angel(us), this is what a whole episode of BtVS is about! That he hates her because he loves her. And Spike had an unfair advantage; he could actually “show” Buffy he loved/needed her. I really hope that there are no Riley and Buffy shippers out there… that would be scary. And David Boreanaz brings us right to Bones. I knew it. I. Just. Knew. It. There is really nothing more to say. =)

I reach the breaking pint of this hole thingy here. This point is Damon and Elena (of course). As I said before, I always felt who belonged and I tell yah Damon & Elena people! I have a 100% hitting chance! It is the thing with Dawson/joey/ Pacey. Did anyone really want D&J to end up together? They just felt… wrong. He was save, he was better, he was boring just like Stefan always brooding (there is really only one hot and steamy way to brood… to be Angel xD). Anyways in the end it was Joey and Pacey, the rebel, the bad guy. Pacey was not a badass as Damon (one being a rebellious teen and the other one being a badass Vampire) but as I always say: Damon is the Pacey of TVD… or the Jess if you want; still he would win the girl (if he’s not a jerk like Jess!)

And something else I have to get out:

What we know is that Elena’s aware of her, let’s say it carefully, growing feelings towards Damon. We know it’s hard for Elena to have those feelings which, be honest, we know she has but it must be hard for Damon too. He hadn’t asked to be in love with his brother’s girl, he didn’t ask to be in love at all, feel anything but she made him. It’s like she forced him into those feelings because she wanted him to be the better man, out of which reason whatsoever. Now everybody knows how he feels, that he feels and he hates it. Feeling at all and loving her. Let’s face it, he hates being in love with her, that he’s never going to have her, not ever. He fights so hard not be in love, try’s out other girls but he has to admit other girls just don’t do it for him anymore, like he said, not even Katherine which he loved for more than a century isn’t doing it for him. We only know partly why he’s even in love with Elena, maybe because she made him feel, maybe because she was his only friend, maybe because she trusted him, maybe because she forgot every cruel and terrible thing he ever did and still forgave him. We don’t know.

The fact that Elena has feelings for Damon at all makes her different to Kat. Kat admitted she never really loved Damon; that she was just using him and she only loved Stefan. If Elena would be true and she kept lying to herself about her feelings, she would be like Kat, because she is using Damon as well. All this “Do it for me” crap she’s putting him through.

Damon always stood aside, watching other people being happy. Watching his brother being loved by the women Damon loved as well. He was never the one of choice, not to Kat and not to Elena as it seems. But he was better, he loved Kat and he was true to her for more than a century, till she blew him off by admitting she never really loved him. And he moved on. Elena was his friend; he trusted her and by occasion fell in love with her. He told her how he felt but compelled her so she forgot he ever said it. This just shows perfect how much he chanced, how much better he became. He protects her, saves her, puts his own live in jeopardy in order to rescue her from whatever is there to harm her and he loves her but still she is choosing Stefan. He is trying so hard to be better, to be all he can be but it seems never enough like he’s destined to be unhappy, to be the one left out. Even now that Stefan is in full Ripper mode, Elena is haunting the ghost of ‘Good old Stefan’ instead of realizing who was there for her all the time, and who never left her. I know Stefan is only where he is now because he wanted to save Damon but that doesn’t change the fact that he is in Ripper mode now.

So obviusly, I was and kinda still am obsessed with TVD, Buffy and for over a year now Lucifer as well. I mean this season (4) was awesome!
