I went to a party,and remembered what you said.You told me not to drink, Mom;so I had a Sprite instead.I felt proud of my self,the way you said I would,that I didn't drink and drive,though some friends said I should.I made a healthy choice,a wise one indeed, and your advice to me was right,you would have been pleased.As I waited and watched the others drive out of sight,as I got into my car sure that I would make it home,alright.I never knew what was coming,or what was about to happen next,something I least expected .Now I am lying on the pavement,and I hear a policeman say,"The kid that caused this wreck was drunk." His voice seems so far away. My own blood all around me, as I try not to cry, I can hear the paramedic say, "This girl is going to die." I'm sure the guy had no idea,while he was flying so high, that he was about to put my life at stake, because he chose to drink and drive,now I have to die.So why do people do it?Knowing that it ruins lives.And now the pain is cutting into me like a thousand stabbing knives.Tell sister not to be afraid,tell daddy to be brave,and when I go to heaven ,put"Daddy's Girl"on my grave.Someone should have taught him, that it's wrong to drink and drive.Maybe if his parents had,I'd still be alive.My breath is getting shorter,I'm really getting scared.These are my final moments,and Im so unprepared.I wish that you could hold me,as I lay here and die.I wish I could say I love you,so I love you and good-bye.

Moral:Please dont Drink and Drive It ruins lives!
