Hello fellow readers and/or writers,

I am a 63 year old widow and grandmother of 40 with one more on the way and four great-grandchildren. I've had two children and married a widower with six. I have also partially raised six others as wards of the court. I count them and their progeny all as mine because I love them all the same.

Now that all of our children are on their own, I have more time for my writing. I enjoy writing as a catharsis as well as a means to release my imagination. I'm a jabber-box and I find it helps if I can write down my thoughts so that I don't monopolize conversations with my constant jabbering. However, until March of 2010, I was caregiver to my husband so I wasn't able to get time to write so I just quit and I haven't been able to get back into it.

I have many interests. I enjoy creating things so I work with crafts, cross stitch and plastic canvas needlework as well as creating t-shirt and poster designs.

I love my church and my pastor.

I also enjoy my quiet time for reading and working puzzles - especially math based puzzles.

I hope you enjoy the things I write. I encourage honest reviews. If you disagree with what I write, I have no problem with you telling me. It's an exchange of ideas. However, I ask that you confine your views to the writing content, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure and not to me personally.
