![]() Hello There fellow fanfiction readers! this is The Avenging Titan (Originally went by TheDeathly-Z) and i first joined Fanfiction.net Feb 1 2014, Amazing how much time fly's nowadays. Anyway i now have a better understanding at this whole "Writing a fic" thing but for the moment i have no plans for any stories. But if i do start writing stories then please do cut me some slack if i screw something up and if you do enjoy my stories please hit that favorite/follow button if you wish to see more and suggest it to anyone else who would be interested, it would be great to see lots of people like my material. Don't forget to leave a review on my stories and give me some constructive feedback to help me improve on or suggest new ideas for the story but any flames and straight up hate reviews will be deleted without hesitation, there's already too much of that crap in this world as it is. My Favorite TV shows/Anime/Web-Series: The Walking Dead My Favorite Movies/Movie Franchises: Transformers Series (Michael Bay Live-Action Universe) My Favorite Heroes/Protagonists: Optimus Prime - (Transformers) My Favorite Anti-Heroes/Antagonists: Megatron - (Transformers) Favorite Movie/TV Show/Video Game/Anime Quotes, Phrases & Bits of Dialogue: "There are people in this world who deal only in extremes. It's naive to think that anything less than extreme measures will stop them." - Amanda Waller to Oliver Queen. The CW's Arrow S03E08 The Brave & the Bold. "And just like that... everything changed. At that terrible moment, in our hearts, we knew. Home was a pen. Humanity... cattle." - Armin Arlet/Narrator in the beginning. Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan. "Every galaxy I’ve traveled, all you species are the same. You all think you’re the center of the universe. (turns his head away) You have no idea..." - Lockdown to Harold Attinger. Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction. "You step outside, you risk your life. You take a drink of water, you risk your life. And nowadays you breathe, and you risk your life. Every moment now, you don't have a choice. The only thing you can choose is what you're risking it for." - Hershel Greene to Maggie and Rick. AMC's The Walking Dead S04E03 Isolation. "That's what i do: I drink... and i know things" - Tyrion Lannister to Varys, Missandei and Grey Worm. HBO's Game of Thrones S06E02 Home. "War. War never changes" - Protagonist/Narrator. Bethesda's Fallout Series. "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL!" - Harbinger possessing the Collectors. BioWare's Mass Effect 2. "To accept and adopt Itachi's intention would be childish. The foolish sputtering of those who don't know hatred. If anyone who criticises my way of life were to come forward, I'd turn around and kill every single one of their loved ones, so that they too can grasp what it's like… (Activates the Mangekyo Sharingan) to experience this hatred of mine." - Sasuke Uchiha to Tobi/Obito. Naruto Manga/Anime series. "You have fought valiantly, but in vain. I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence, dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. On this night, you have allowed your friends to die for you rather than face me yourself. There is no greater dishonor. Join me in the Forbidden Forest and confront your fate. If you do not do this, I shall kill every last man, woman and child who tries to conceal you from me." - Tom Riddle/Voldemort's disembodied voice across Hogwarts. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. "Sooner or later, we all go through a crucible. I'm guessing yours was that island. Most believe there are two types of people who go into a crucible. The ones who become stronger from the experience and survive it, and the ones who die. But there's a third type. The ones who learn to love the fire and choose to stay in their crucible because it's easier to embrace the pain when it's all you know anymore." - Sebastian Blood to Oliver Queen. The CW's Arrow S02E04 Crucible. "Not once in this century of terror has mankind risen above the Titans. Their every craven, bloodthirsty advance has left a wake of inestimable loss for us. Lives taken, territory abandoned. However, should we succeed, we'll make history! Today is the day lands taken by our greatest enemy will be reclaimed. For the first time, we will know what it means not to run, but to meet the Titans head-on and win! Now, it may seem an insignificant lot of land compared to the vast tracts of former glory long abandoned, but as a symbol, as an idea, Trost's regain shall stand as a reclamation of pride and hope beyond measure. A leap greater than we have ever taken!" - Commander Dot Pixis speech to the soldiers, Reclamation of Trost District. Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan S01E11 Idol: The Struggle for Trost, Part 7 (Dub). "Meaningless, huh? WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF MEANINGLES?! (Powers up) Spend most of your life ruled by another. Watch your race dwindle to a handful. And then, tell me what has more meaning than your own strength! I have in me the blood of a Saiyan Prince. He is nothing but a joke! Yet I've had to watch him surpass me in strength. My destiny, thrown to the wayside! He's... he's even saved my life as if i were a helpless child. He has stolen my honor. And his debts... Must. Be. Paid!" - Majin Vegeta to Goku, Gohan and Supreme Kai. Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Z. "I bet your parents taught you that you mean something; that you're here for a reason. My parents taught me a different lesson; dying in the gutter... for no reason at all. (Swings Superman through several concrete pillars with his grapple) They taught me the world only makes sense... if you force it to." - Batman to a beaten and battered Superman. DCEU's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. "Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again expecting shit to change. That. Is. Crazy. The first time somebody told me that, I dunno, I thought they were bullshitting me. So, boom, I shot him. The thing is... he was right. And then I started seeing, everywhere I looked, everywhere I looked all these fucking pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same fucking thing. Over, and over, and over, and over again thinking, 'This time is gonna be different. No, no, no please... this time is gonna be different.' I'm sorry, I don't like the way... (punches crate aside violently) ...you are LOOKING at me!... Okay, do you have a fucking problem in your head? Do you think I am bullshitting you, do you think I am lying? Fuck you! Okay? FUCK. YOU. It's okay, man. I'm gonna chill, hermano. I'm gonna chill. The thing is... all right? The thing is I killed you once already, and it's not like I am fucking crazy. It's okay. It's like water under the bridge. (walks up to Jason) Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?" - Vaas Montenegro to Jason Brody. Ubisofts Far Cry 3. "The Black Panther has been the protector of Wakanda for generations. A mantle passed from warrior to warrior. Now because your friend murdered my father, I also wear the mantle of king. So I ask you, as both warrior and king, how long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me?" - King T'Challa of Wakanda to Steve Rogers. MCU's Captain America: Civil War. "Everything that you thought had meaning... every hope, dream or moment of happiness... none of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield... none of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body. We all die. But does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean there was no point in us being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives, were they meaningless? THEY WERE NOT! Their memories serve as an example to us all! The courageous fallen! The anguished fallen! Their lives have meaning because we, the living, refuse to forget them! And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us! Because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world! My soldiers push forward! My soldiers scream out!! My soldiers RAGE!!!" - Commander Erwin Smith's speech to the remaining Scouts, Suicide Charge. Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan S03E16 Perfect Game (Dub). "Forgive and have mercy upon him... Excuse him and pardon him... Make honorable his reception... Protect him from the punishment of the grave... And the torment of fire." - Ra's al Ghul's prayer to Oliver Queen post-duel. The CW's Arrow S03E09 The Climb. "When a TRUE soldier is told to kill, he kills. He does not question why, he does not mourn the fallen; he fulfills his role and moves on to the next." - Locus to Agent Washington. Rooster Teeth's Red vs Blue: The Chorus Trilogy. "Mankind is no more, yet your world remains. And in time, your kind will grow to walk it's face once again. However, without our presence, they will be but a fraction of what they once were. Creation (Conjures a Staff), destruction (Conjures a Sword), choice (Conjures a Crown) and knowledge (Conjures a Lamp) were the ideals upon which humanity was made. Now, I leave them behind with the hope that you will to remake yourselves. (God of Light combines the Relics into an orb) If brought together, these four Relics will summon my brother and i back to your world, and humanity will be judged. If your kind has learned to live in harmony with one another and set aside their differences, then we shall once again live among you, and humanity will be made whole again. But if your kind is unchanged, if you demand our blessings while still fighting amongst yourselves... then man will be found irredeemable and your world will be wiped from existence. Until your task is complete... you will reincarnate. But in a manner that ensures you are never alone" - God of Light tasking Ozma (Ozpin's first life) with his mission. Rooster Teeth's RWBY Volume 6 Chapter 3: The Lost Fable. "Where other men blindly follow the truth, remember: Nothing is true. Where other men are limited by their morality or law, remember: Everything is permitted. We work in the darkness to serve the light. We are Assassins. Nothing is true; everything is permitted." - The Brotherhood's Maxim/Motto. Ubisofts Assassin's Creed Franchise. "There it is. That's the look. I've seen it for 17 years on face after face. You all despise me. Kingslayer. Oath breaker. Man without honor. ... You've heard of Wildfire? The Mad King was obsessed with it. He loved to watch people burn--the way their skin blackened, blistered, melted off their bones. He burned lords he didn't like; he burned Hands that disobeyed him; he burned anyone that was against him. Before long, half the country was against him. Aerys saw traitors everywhere, so he had his pyromancer place caches of Wildfire all over the city: beneath the Sept of Baelor, the slums of Flea Bottom, under houses, stables, taverns, even beneath the Red Keep itself. Finally... the day of reckoning came. Robert Baratheon marched upon the capitol after his victory at the Trident. But my father arrived first with the whole Lannister army at his back, promising to defend the city against the rebels... I knew my father better than that. He's never been one to pick the losing side. I told the Mad King as much. I urged him to surrender peacefully. But the king didn't listen to me, didn't listen to Varys, who tried to warn him. But he did listen to Grandmaester Pycell, that grey sunken cunt. 'You can trust the Lannisters,' he said. 'The Lannisters have always been true friends of the crown.' So, we opened the gates and my father sacked the city. Once again I came to the king begging him to surrender. He told me to... bring him my father's head. Then he turned to his pyromancer, 'Burn them all,' he said. 'Burn them in their homes, burn them in their beds.' Tell me, if your precious Renly commanded you to kill your own father and stand by while thousands of men women and children were burned alive, would you have done it? Would you have kept your oath then? First, I killed the pyromancer, and then when the king turned to flee I drove my sword into his back. 'Burn them all,' he kept saying. 'Burn them all.' I don't think he expected to die. He... meant to... burn with the rest of us and rise again reborn as a dragon and turn his enemies to ash. I slit his throat to make sure that didn't happen. That's where Ned Stark found me. Stark... You think the honorable Ned Stark wanted to hear my side? He judged me guilty the moment he set eyes on me. By what right does the wolf judge the lion? By what right?!" - Jamie Lannister confessing to Brienne of Tarth. HBO's Game of Thrones S03E05 Kissed by Fire. "I've been thinking every day since i came here. How did things turn out this way? Ruined minds and bodies... people with no freedom left... people who have even lost themselves... what kind of person would want to go to war if they knew they were going to end up like THIS? But... there was something there, all along... pushing us right into hell. For most of us, that something is not our own free will. We're forced to by others, or by our environment. That's why... the people who push themselves into hell see a different hell from the rest of us. They also see something BEYOND that hell. Maybe it's hope. Maybe it's yet another hell. I don't know which it is. The only people who do know... are the ones who keep moving forward." - Eren Jaegar to Falco in Marley. Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan. "There's nowhere you can hide, Spartan. Put as much distance between you and the truth as you want, it changes nothing. Pretend to be everything you are not... teacher... husband... father... but there is one unavoidable truth you will never escape: You cannot change. You will always be a monster." - Athena mocking Kratos as he puts on the Blades of Chaos again. God of War (2018). "The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control, and not the other way around... Let them fight." - Ishiro Serizawa to Admiral William Stenz. Legendary Entertainments Godzilla (2014). "You will give the people of earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble. They will fall. But in time... they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time... you will help them accomplish wonders" - Jor-El to Clark Kent/Kal-El. DCEU's Man of Steel. "Do you see the beauty of it? The inevitability? You rise, only to fall. You Avengers, you are my meteor. My swift and terrible sword and the Earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers; turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing! When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world... will be metal!" - Ultron to the Avengers as Sokovia rises to the sky. MCU's Avengers: Age of Ultron. "It's our time now--let's get this shit started." - The Boss to the Third Street Saints, motivating his crew. Volition and Deep Silver's Saints Row 2/The Third/IV. "In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lanterns LIGHT!" - Oath of the Green Lantern Corps. DC Comics. "I'm saying there may be a causality. Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict... breeds catastrophe. Oversight... Oversight is not an idea that can be dismissed out of hand." - Vision's explanation to the Avengers, Sokovia Accords debate. MCU's Captain America: Civil War. "Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell... They're all just spokes on a wheel. This ones on top then that ones on top and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to BREAK the wheel." - Daenerys Targaryen to Tyrion Lannister. HBO's Game of Thrones S05E08 Hardhome. "To say that Nothing is True, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that Everything is Permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our own actions, and that we must live with our actions, whether glorious or tragic." - Ezio to Sofia. Ubisofts Assassin's Creed Revelations. "I didn't have to go easy on you. A different binding agent, a stronger mix... I want you to remember that. I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way. In all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember the one man who beat you." - Batman to a weakened Superman. DC's The Dark Knight Returns Part 2. ”We’re born free. All of us... Free. Some don’t believe it... some try to take it away. To hell with them! Water like fire, mountains of ice, the whole bit! Lay your eyes on that... and you'll know what freedom is. That it's worth fighting for! Fight to live, risk it all for even a glimmer of real freedom! It doesn’t matter what’s waiting outside the gate, or what comes in! It doesn’t matter how cruel the world can be, or how unjust! Fight. Fight. Fight. FIGHT! FIGHT!!!" - Eren Jaegar as he carries the giant boulder in Titan Form. Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan S01E13 Primal Desire: The Struggle for Trost, Part 9 (Dub). "The war is over. The Reapers have been defeated. Against all odds, and in the face of the greatest threat this galaxy has ever known, we survived. We suffered many losses. The relays are severely damaged, but we won. This victory belongs to each of us... every man, woman, and child. Every civilization, on every world. Now, as we take our first steps toward restoring what we lost, we must remember what it took to win. This wasn't a victory by a single fleet, a single army, or even a single species. If this war has taught us anything, it is that we are at our strongest when we work together. And if we can put down our grievances long enough to stop something as powerful as the Reapers, imagine what we can achieve now that they are defeated. It will take time, but we can rebuild everything that was destroyed. Our homes, our worlds, our fleets and defenses. All of this - and more. Together, we can build a future greater than any one of us could imagine. A future paid for by the sacrifices of those who fought and died alongside us. A future that many will never see. And while we still have many challenges ahead of us... We can face them together. And we will honor those who died to give us that future." - Admiral Steven Hackett narration, Destroy Ending.
