An avid reader, I grew up always wanting to write, yet never had the confidence nor the time to really let myself do so. A dual-citizen of the USA and Switzerland, I find myself in a unique position to reflect on the thoughts and opinions of my peers. Up to this point most of my writing has been purely academic, and thus comes across as overly-analytical and somewhat distant from the reader's emotions. Also, my vocabulary leaves many people feeling like I talk down to them or that I am pompous. I promise that I am only mildly so, and a very respectful windbag at that. With that being said, my work outside of essays, lab reports and epistemological dissertation is primarily in poetry. Weird, right? So, without a single sling or arrow unslung, let the insanity flow as ink on paper! Or pixels typecast in Times New Roman. . .whatever. Also, I like hundred dollar words, frolicking in fields, superfluous sonnets and egregious abuse of alliteration (assonance is for dullards, dingbats and slackers on the dole :P). |
