![]() Author has written 31 stories for CSI, and Downton Abbey. 2016 update: I've been a fan of Downton Abbey since the start, but only started reading DA fanfic during the final season in the US. I wasn't always great about reviewing, but I know how much reviews mean to authors, so (when not distracted by my own writing attempts) I'm slowly going back to stories I've already read and enjoyed, to show my appreciation. And I love that the fic is continuing, so I can find new little slices of DA heaven even now the show has finished. I'm primarily a Chelsie fan, but I'm fond of most of the characters. About me: originally from what I like to call "the south, way down south," I lived for a decade in the UK as an adult, and I'm now in the US. When writing CSI fic, I tried to make it sound as American as I could (not sure how well I succeeded!). With DA fics, I'm seeking to write with more of a British bent. I hope it works, or at least isn't too awful. In the unlikely event anyone's wondering, I have no financial stake in either CSI or Downton Abbey, unless you count some blurays and DVDs, and make no money from my fics. tumblr: wobbear I started reading CSI fan fiction 2004/5. A big fan of the show, I was a GSR shipper way before I’d heard of the term. First I lurked, then I started reviewing and did some editing. I hadn’t tried any creative writing since I had to in high school, but somehow started writing my first fic Cotidie. At first it was for my amusement only, then I took the plunge and started posting it. I'm not laboring under any illusions of being a real writer, but I found the whole experience a lot of fun! There's a beta'd version on my livejournal account, assuming that still exists. My writing tends towards the fluffier side; I figure there's enough angst in real life, and I do this as a diversion. I hope you enjoy it. I love feedback from readers, and try to respond to every review, so I look forward to "hearing" from you. I haven't written anything since 2011, but I haven't officially given up either, so you never know ... |
