You may also be curious as to how a dragon is able to type on such a tiny keyboard, or why he is able to speak the human language. The truth is, I'm actually One day, on my seventeenth, I had received a mysterious letter from an anonymous sender. The letter said:
At first, I didn't know what to think. In fact, a part of me was thinking that it was a scam letter to join some cultist organization in an attempt to swindle money out of me. But another half of me was eager to go and explore the mysterious opportunity. After a period of contemplation, I decided to do it. I dug inside the envelope and pulled out a clear crystal necklace with strange letters on the outer ridge that I've never seen before. I figured that this was the keystone that the letter had mentioned. I squinted my eyes and carefully read the letters on it, and said out loud: Yol genun geinro vahzah faain. I blinked in confusion. Somehow I knew how to pronounce the mysterious lettering on the stone... The creepier part was when a deep yet familiar voice whispered in my head, telling me the English translation: Fire shows one's true color. From that, an idea sparked in my mind. Holding the keystone necklace carefully close to the fireplace, I waited to see what would happen. As the stone grew warmer, it started changing color, from yellow, to orange, and finally, to crimson-red. I walked over to the window and held the crystal up in the air, not even noticing or caring about the burning heat from the crystal. The sunlight shone through it, and a magnificence red light shone throughout the room, enveloping everything, including me. Next thing I knew, I was in a hallway, in front of two large double doors that must've been taller than skyscrapers. Before I knocked on the doors, a loud, booming voice rang through my ears. "What is the color of the dragon's heart?" I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and replied, without even thinking, "Crimson as the fire that it has breathed, the skies it has flown, and the blood it has spilled." After stating my automatic response, my eyes widened with shock. 'How did I know all of this?' Next thing I knew, the double doors had opened, and a voice from the pitch-black darkness within had echoed my name, calling me... Answering its call, I ventured inside. I felt a burning sensation within. Part of me wanted to turn back, but I felt as if I couldn't move on my own anymore. It was as if someone else had taken control of my body... The darkness faded away as I advanced on, and a red glow could be seen in the distance. As I drew closer, I could see that the glow was emanating from a sphere of fire floating in the center of a large chamber that was so tall, the ceiling could not even be seen. I walked towards the glowing sphere, got on my hands and knees, and bowed, no longer in any control of my body. All of a sudden, the ball of fire exploded and I was looking up at a black-scaled dragon of considerably large size. To paint the picture better, I was not even as big as the size of the creature's claws. The dragon lowered its head down to me and stared into my eyes, releasing a snort. My heart was racing with excitement, not fear, as the smoke from the dragons nostrils circled around me. The walls of the chamber around me had fallen down, and the scenery around me had changed, as if by magic. I was no longer in a chamber lit by fire. I was now on a rocky cliff, staring up at the enormous black dragon, and surrounded by several other dragons lined up on both sides of us. All of them roared, releasing fire into the skies. The ground shook beneath me as the dragon in front of me roared right in my face, almost knocking me aback with the blast of its powerful rank breath. The keystone inside my pocket started resonating, glowing the same color as the dragon's crimson eyes. I took out the stone and held it in the air, letting the rays from the sunset strike its surface. The stone had disappeared and the dragon in front of me glared down at me. 'Oops...' The dragon reared its large head back, and breathed a powerful stream of fire down upon me, completely roasting me in flames. However, instead of dying like a normal human, I noticed that I was actually... changing. I looked down at my arms, to see that the skin being scorched off was actually uncovering red scales. Pretty soon, my entire body was covered in the scales. But that wasn't even the beginning. My bones snapped as they enlarged and changed their shape. My face stretched out into a long snout, and the inside of my mouth grew sharp fangs and a long pointed tongue. My hands and feet grew sharp black claws, and soon I started growing horns and spikes all over my body. My arms and legs changed their shape as they grew stronger muscles, while I had already fallen on all fours. Soon a long, thick tail sprouted out from behind me, and a large pair of wings sprouted out of my backside, with a dark-colored membrane dropping down from the wings' limbs. I felt my torso expand as I developed another layering of bronze scales over my newly developed muscles and enlarged underbelly. The outside of my body was just about complete, and my body was almost as large as the dragon before me. I felt a painful sensation going on inside of my body as well, feeling my organs enlarging and taking on a new form. I could feel my stomach grow new and larger chambers, and my appetite growing and changing to that of a dragon's. I could feel my brain growing bigger too, gaining all sorts of new information that would only be available to dragons, such as reptilian instincts and a burning desire to destroy and enslave. My lungs expanded, taking in more air and filling up with raging fire. I even felt new organs develop, one of which was a flame sac that had the capability of converting oxygen to flame, allowing me the ability to breathe fire. All of these changes to my body paralyzed my movement, so all I could do during this transformation was yell out in pain, except that my voice was now distorted and deeper-toned, as well as at a louder volume. Pretty soon, my new senses began to kick in. My new eyes, now golden, could see farther than they ever could before. My new dragon nostrils at the end of my snout took in scents that I didn't even notice from when I was just a human. Instead of hearing with ears, I could feel the vibrations of the earth bounce off of my newly-developed horns and scales, coming off as sound waves; it was like hearing with my whole body. I felt the earth between my new paws and dug my claws into it, leaving behind large claw marks in the dirt. I gave my wings a flap and wagged the large tail behind me back and forth. I then sat on my large haunches, rose my head up high and a proud but cocky smirk formed on my new reptilian face. When the transformation was complete, the dragons around me roared in approval. Some of them even slammed their tails and stomped their feet against the ground in applause. The black dragon in front of me stood on his two hind feet, and wrapped his arms around my neck. "Welcome home, my brother." This dragon, who was apparently my real brother, explained to me who I was and where I came from. Apparently, I was a dragovian, an all-male race of people born as humans, but mature into dragons. When a dragovian is born, he is abandoned by his real parents and dropped off as a baby in the human world to be adopted by human parents. When the dragovian reaches maturity, at 17, it is time for him to go through the coming-of-age ceremony, which involves the leader of the dragon's clan to reveal the dragovian's draconian form by scorching his human body with fire. The newly formed dragon is then inducted into the clan to abandon life as a human and live the rest of his life as a dragon. However, I am apparently different from the rest in a few ways. For one, I am able to remember my human past and revert back to my human form whenever I want. The other Dragovians revert back to their human forms on the night of full moons, and are stuck like that until the next day. I'm also able to exist in two separate bodies, human and dragon, through a psychic mental connection. And finally, I have powers that make me stronger than the rest of them. In dragon form, I have the ability to change between alternate dimensions and fictional worlds, changing my form in each one, and as such, it is my duty to guard the borders between the realms. For example, when I am in the Pokemon world, I'm actually a Charizard. The best part of it all, is that with each fictional story I create on this site, creates another version of me, with his own distinct personality, that I can interact with whenever I please. According to my clan, my powers were predicted in a prophecy that spoke of "the dragon who would either destroy or save the very fabric of time and space". My powers to create new versions of me with each alternate reality that I share with the human population gives me the capability of raising an army. However, none of my people know whether or not my powers of time and space are a good thing. It makes me feared and sometimes shunned from the rest of the dragons, except for my brother, who still respects me for who I am. As of now, my dragon name is "Ragnarok", which is a word that means "the end of the world" in Norse mythology, and I am second-in-command of my clan, with my brother being the leader. And why am I telling you all this information that's supposed to be secret and kept hidden from humans? Simple: you're not going to believe me anyway. -.=.- Personality My personality is split among the alternate selves that I create. My main two bodies, the human and the dragon, are almost polar opposites. As a human, I am shy, kind, and overall a respectable person. I also demonstrate signs of wit, humor, and sarcasm when I'm open around my friends. I also have unbreakable loyalty to the people I care about. I'm a genuinely nice guy, willing to help anyone out, and my passion for making the world a better place is best shown when I am asked to reveal my true thoughts and opinions to others. Sometimes, however, my desire to make things better is taken a little "too" far when I over think everything and try to fix every small detail. I strive for perfection and look for no less. I also care about my decisions and take every factor into account. You give me a menu at a restaurant, and I'll spend an hour deciding on what I want. The only limit to my perfectionist ideals is my lack of energy. Sometimes I wear myself out trying to make everything the best it can be and making sure everything I do is perfect, so I give up on the idea and go back to playing video games or something. I can also be overemotional and let the smallest things get to me and spoil my mood, so a lot of the time, you might also see me depressed and moping in the corner. All in all though, I love the thought of helping people and being the best person I can be, and even though I have problems with my emotions and unrealistic goals of perfection, I'm willing to make the world a better place by inspiring people to always do their best and work with other people. As a dragon, it's a different story. I'm loud, obnoxious, and wild around everybody. My friends and I will go on crazy adventures together, wreaking havoc wherever we go. I care little about "attention to details" or "emotions" when I'm a dragon. I look at the big picture and see the world as a place for me to be myself and do whatever I want. I'm also very prideful and strongly independent. I can also be a bit greedy to the point of fighting with friends. I also don't really think things through and I end up embarrassing myself with my stupidity. Common sense is not my game. But you'll also never find someone more honest than I am, although sometimes I can be a little too blunt. I'm also a party animal, knowing that there's all this fun stuff to do and not enough time to do it. All in all, I can be a pretty cool dragon. I'm strong, brave, and passionate about everything I do and you'll never see me back down from a challenge. I also have a strong desire to enslave all of humanity. It's difficult maintaining personality when I'm changing between forms, so I tend to be a mix of the two personalities. In the end, I'm a strong, passionate individual with unbreakable loyalty, and pride. So full of pride, I hate having people tell me what to do, and as a result, I can come off as arrogant or unfriendly to others. Sometimes, I admit, I do feel that I'm better than others, but I always know deep down that I have my own quirks to work on. I'm normally well-reserved, but of course, I do have a wild side that's going to spin out of control at bad times. In fact, it may lead to me unintentionally hurting others and letting my perverse thoughts and ideas taking control over me, intimidating other people. I react strongly to my emotions, meaning I'm more likely to experience anxiety, anger, or depression. But I also have a heart as strong as a dragon's. I'm always sincere with others, and I never back down from a challenge because of my competitive nature. Sometimes I don't realize it, but I can be a really good guy, who will always stick up for others and stand up for what he knows is right in the end. Philosophy To be updated. Additional Information I really want to start working on my fanfiction story for Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon as soon as possible, but I have a lot of other things on my plate right now, such as my upcoming SAT and ACT tests, as well as several different camps and practices for the school and church organizations that I participate in. There's also a few parts of my profile that I'd like to edit in the meantime... Anyway, please be patient! As an esteemed writer, it is my duty to deliver to the people, and I will do so to the best of my ability! PS: I'm looking for an even better profile picture. If any great artists out there are willing to make a contribution by making one for me, I'd be happy to make you an honorable mention here on my profile page, at the very top. Just pm me about it and stick to the physical description of my dragon persona if you can please. Thanks in advance! |
